Mi è piaciuto Loved this site. Booked it as weather was good. We were at the bottom of the field where the tents are. Fantastic view of the sea, there were horses in the field next to us. Quiet at night. It was so nice to see Alpacas and goats from The Fat Badger pub, we had a lovely time and I really like Weymouth. Will definitely come again.

Mi è piaciuto Lovely campsite, nice staff, great views and facilities in a lovely country location with Weymouth being easy to get to. Would definitely go back 😊

Mi è piaciuto Beautiful campsite with amenities needed and stunning views accross the coubtryside with good access to cycle path's/walk to the pub etc.

Non mi è piaciuto Unfortunately the owner was rude and disrespectful. My son was not able to come camping as working next day so I told the owner the day before I was meeting him and I asked her if he could park next to my car (this was literally only to wait for my family after being with him in Salisbury and meeting other family who were coming camping so we can all go to the pub to eat as he is local and there was a main road outside the campsite). I was informed the day before this would be £10. It is £7 not £10 online for an extra car. After spending the day in Salisbury my son parked his car in a bay opposite the campsite on a busy main road and walked in, we waited for family but they were delayed as it was friday and just before heading to the pub the owner came up to me in front of my family and said rudely "I told you yesterday there are no visitors" - this was a lie, she did not tell me that, we only discussed the car but anyway I had already read the no visitors policy online which is why I respectfully asked her about this the day before. At the time my son was at the site it was empty and anyway I had booked my partner in who couldn't come the day before so there were still the same amount of people on our pitch as there would have been. The owner then said to me "You only booked for 4, not 5" and both my son and I had to be firm with her and say "We are going now, I'm not staying here". This left a bad atmosphere for no reason. The owner knew about my son as I told her the day before. I appreciate lots of visitors could be an issue particularly if busy but its normal for people to see other people when they are on holiday and the owner should learn to show more respect when people are on the site to enjoy themselves and have a nice time and not made to feel they gave done something wrong when clearly they have not. Won't be going back.

Whilst we always take note of all reviews and are continually seeking to improve our offering on the basis of feedback, you will I am sure have noted that your review is somewhat of an anomaly and that we are consistently praised for our friendly and helpful attitude to all our guests, something upon which we pride ourselves. Unfortunately you appear to have no recollection of my explaining politely to you the previous day that we do not permit guests to have visitors on site and this is very clear in our Ts and Cs. Whether the site was busy or not is not relevant.
