Mi è piaciuto Stopped at Gwinear Camping and honestly… there is absolutely nothing negative we can say about this place. It is stunning. The setting is beautiful, peaceful and so well looked after. From the moment we arrived it just had that relaxing feel that makes you instantly know you’re going to enjoy your stay. Pitches are spacious, everything is immaculate and the whole site feels calm and welcoming. You can tell a lot of care and thought has gone into it. Facilities are excellent too — clean, modern and probably some of the best we’ve come across on our travels so far 👍 There’s also a laundry room… which I will definitely be making use of 😅

Mi è piaciuto Tower Hill Caravan & Camping Park ⛺️ Hmm… this one’s a bit of a mixed bag 🤔 On the plus side, the pitch itself was decent — good hardstanding with water, electric and waste, which is always a win when you’re in the van 👍 BUT… for the price, it just didn’t feel worth it. Showers were £1 for 30 minutes… who on earth is in there that long?! 😂 We didn’t bother in the end as they weren’t the cleanest we’ve come across anyway. There is a washer and dryer which is always a bonus for me (vanlife reality 😅), but again £1 for 30 minutes — and if you’ve got both running, you can almost see your electric disappearing before your eyes. Then to top it off, our last night wasn’t great. Group of teenagers/young adults in a tent shouting, screaming and carrying on until about 2:30am 🙄 Not exactly the peaceful night you hope for when you’re parked up. All in all… decent pitch setup, but between the cost, facilities and the noise, it’s not somewhere we’d rush back to.

Mi è piaciuto Lovely site with fully serviced pitches and absolutely stunning views — you really can’t fault the setting. The toilets and showers were clean and well maintained during our stay. The site is dog friendly with some great walks nearby, perfect for your furry companions. Overall, a pleasant stay in a beautiful location.

Non mi è piaciuto My only criticism would be the showers. They’re push-button operated and only stay on for around 10 seconds at a time, which is quite frustrating. Unfortunately, they also weren’t very hot.

Mi è piaciuto We found The Old Bush in Callow End, Worcester through Pitchup.com — and what an amazing find it was. The site is set on a hill with absolutely stunning views, which really makes it feel special. Waking up to that scenery was a real treat. The pub serves fantastic food and we celebrated my husband’s birthday there with a wonderful meal. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, an absolute stunning log fire making it even more memorable. At the top of the site is Shop at the Top, a lovely café and shop. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast there — definitely worth a visit. The site itself has all the amenities you need: water, waste, electric hook-up if you want it, chemical waste disposal, plus clean toilets and showers. Dog friendly pub and cafe/shop. It truly is a spectacular place and we would definitely recommend it.

Mi è piaciuto Shiplate Farm Fishery – Motorhome Stay We stayed at Shiplate Farm Fishery and really enjoyed it. It’s a lovely, peaceful spot with beautiful views over the lakes — exactly the kind of place you go to slow down and breathe a bit. Very quiet at night and felt safe and relaxed, which we always appreciate when travelling in the motorhome. The pitches are well spaced and the site is kept tidy. The facilities are actually great: two toilets and a shower, all in the same building as the reception. There’s also a food-prep area with a microwave, fridge and kettle, plus tea and coffee provided, which was a really nice touch and not something you always find on smaller sites. Sue, the owner, is incredibly welcoming and genuinely goes out of her way to make you feel at home — nothing is too much trouble for her. She even came over and dropped off half a dozen fresh eggs from her own brood, which went down a treat. We’d mentioned we’d popped into Burnham-on-Sea to use the laundrette and she told us we could have used her facilities instead, which just shows how thoughtful and accommodating she is. It’s not a busy holiday park, which for us was a big plus — no noise, no crowds, just countryside calm. Weston-super-Mare and the surrounding areas are close enough if you fancy heading out for supplies or a wander, but the site itself feels nicely tucked away. Overall, a great stopover or short break if you’re looking for peace, scenery and a genuinely friendly welcome. We’d happily return
