Mi è piaciuto Location very rural down a country road, it is near the railway track but isn’t noisy. Inital presentation is really tidy and well looked after and has good facilities. Was also excellent value for money.

Mi è piaciuto Was a last minute stop off, arrived when dark and you check in with the pub staff which I did have an evening meal in and can safely say the staff that night couldn't do enough, they were all pleasant and very helpful a true value to the establishment. Very small and compact site at the end of the pub carpark.

Mi è piaciuto Booked very last minute as was travelling to the area to visit Lanberris to visit the slate quarry, having previously visited the area last year, on arrival first impressions were very good, couldn't initially find reception but a quick phone call to the friendly host, became clear very quick and again first impression were so polite and welcoming was located a decent spot and shown to my pitch, and is clearly well maintained the facilities were very clean and tidy and has everything you would expect from a decent campsite including a laundry. All round a very decent location that was good value for money in my opinion, the view well I don't think it was going to get much better to one side you are looking towards the farm and to the other you are looking at some impressive welsh country side well worth the visit and happy to find this location.

Non mi è piaciuto Don't think there was any could do with a shelf in the shower area, but that is at best the only niggle, hardly a dislike.

Mi è piaciuto Located just outside wincanton, I was initially worried it was going to be noisy being close to the A303 however you turn off the road around 5-10 minute drive and you are greeted with the driveway and what looks like the pub. I was met quickly by the owner and was offered a choice of hardstanding pitch and the view from the van was just the valley in front of you. The shower facilities were clean and tidy and a nice well tendered garden outside, all round a lovely location and very quiet other than the cockerel providing the complementary wake up call.. phone signal was also very good making it possible to get some work done, I was staying close for work and would definitely stay again next time I need a stop in the area.
