Mi è piaciuto Great location to explore the area. Son enjoyed the bouncy castles and meeting new friends. Facilities clean and tidy. Staff/owners super friendly and helpful. Lovely walk over fields to the beach. Site nice and peaceful at night, great night skies to look at.

Non mi è piaciuto Playground equipment a bit tired and wobbly, long walk to toilet in night (but mentioned on description) take a portable toilet if you can! Son enjoyed the bouncy castles but he did come off them filthy every time and he complained they were wet, noticed they aren't covered overnight.

Mi è piaciuto Wow what can I say. We had an amazing 3 night stay, had perfect weather and then the Eclipse and a sky full of stars! Facilities are super clean and modern. Onsite shop though small has coffee and a selection fresh produce as well as essentials (oh and lots of books to borrow/swap). The kids play area and football pitch we're a great hit with our son and he made lots of friends. He also loved the animals barn where he spent lots of time feeding the goats, sheep and pigs ..oh and the wandering chickens. We saw lots of jets/planes doing exercises which were met with great excitement from all the kids..and adults! Nice dog walking area by the stream. A great location to explore the stunning area of Wales it sits in, the drive is stunning no matter which direction you come from. We've visited Wales numerous times now and it's beauty never fades to us. Thanks for letting us extend our stay and extra night to experience the perfect night sky for the meteor showers. Thanks for such a warm and friendly welcome. We'll definitely be back...our son has said it's his favourite campsite yet.

Mi è piaciuto We loved the whole stay. Received a lovely warm welcome from Josie. The animals and playground were a real hit with our 8 year old. Bar/cafe/shop on site offering lots of choice. Pizza van in the evening was a lovely bonus. Reading past reviews and with the hot dry weather we knew that it would be a bit dusty, it really wasn't an issue. You can see the owners working hard to make improvements to the site which is positive and will make it even better. We had a nice walk through the woods building dens and exploring.

Non mi è piaciuto No dislikes as such just things we noticed that aren't all the owners fault... The showers/toilets weren't left clean by previous users, even though equipment left inside to let users clean up after themselves. The camping field did have a bit of rubbish on and even some tent pegs left lying around, again down to customers not being respectful (we picked up and disposed of these around where we pitched). The playground could maybe do with fencing off maybe, just to prevent the geese poop as lots of the kids kicked off their shoes to enjoy the trampolines, and again people had left litter instead of using the bins provided. The playground equipment does look a bit tired in places but was perfectly safe and was always full of happy kids.

Mi è piaciuto Super easy check in at the pub. Great spacious pitches with own firepit available. Toilet/showers clean and tidy, pot washing area and services available. We ate in the pub, wow the food was amazing! Great customer service too. Great nights sleep and then a super breakfast in the onsite cafe. Staff super friendly and helpful. Playground perfect to burn off some energy, weather stopped out plans for the canal walk so we'll have to come back to do that...and eat more delicious food! Thanks for a great stay ☺️
