Mi è piaciuto The site was in a great location making it excellent for exploring the stunning coastline. The pitch was spacious, the facilities were clean, plenty of hot water and friendly staff. There was a bar on site with indoor and outdoor seating. The popular pub within walking distance served great food.

Mi è piaciuto There were several things I liked about the campsite. Tracy was friendly and welcoming and we pitched up on the airstrip. The facilities were clean and the shower had plenty of hot water. There were lots of portaloos around the site as well as the main toilet block, which was really handy. On the Sunday, there was a pop-up bar and a musician, which added a bit of excitement, as well as the pizza bar. The dog paddock was great for my dogs to run around in too. The coast was less than 15 mins drive and there were hiking paths with stunning views.

Non mi è piaciuto Pitching up on the airstrip proved difficult for standard tent pegs. On the website it said 'Strong rock pegs are advised after spells of dry weather'. The airstrip itself was some sort of clay with grass over the top. This made it difficult for standard pegs but luckily a fellow camper gave us a good tip. Slant the standard tent peg quite a bit to get the pegs in. Hammering down the windbreaker was a bit tricky too because of the clay but we only just managed. One other thing, a drone was flying around the site, up and down the airstrip. I asked one of the 'patrol' staff member about it and he told me that the owner had given permission. It was for taking photos of the site. This made us feel uncomfortable as the drone flew over us several times.
