Non mi è piaciuto The pitch was excessively covered in thistles which made setting up the tent a bit painful and kids kept standing on them. Toilet and shower block is a long walk from the pitch. Only two showers and you can only use one at a time because as soon as the other was turned on it went cold, even mid shower. Toilets were without toilet paper and quite grim by the end of the weekend. Didn't receive a welcome email which apparently had the number to phone to open the gate (gates shut 7pm - 7am) phoned the contact number but wasn't given the number and was just told its in the email, explained i didnt have one and essentially was stuck in but they wouldnt give the number, in the end had to ask another camper to phone the gate for us. All in all a lovely weekend at a really lovely country park but the camping seems like a new addition and the details arnt quite right yet.

We’re sorry to hear that you found the distance a long way from the pitch, there are also 2 toilets near he reception area which are open 24hrs for campers use during your stay. We wanted to take a moment to explain that our campsite is located next to a protected ancient monument, and due to strict archaeological regulations, we are not permitted to dig or construct permanent infrastructure—such as toilet blocks—within certain areas of the site. Preserving this historical land is something we take seriously, and it does affect where facilities can be placed.
