Mi è piaciuto Very welcoming reception staff. Lovely area on the face of it with the kept grounds and the marina.

Non mi è piaciuto Wow - camping here is absolutely horrendous! Grey water disposal site was overflowing onto the grass (total health hazard #1) and the fresh water hose to refill was sitting in the stinking overflowing water (health hazard #2). That’s 2 facilities we couldn’t use and had paid for. Then there’s the ‘sanitary’ area. Sinks for doing dishes has no bins for waste food from the sink so there were dried out little piles of scum and food sitting by the sinks. 3rd facility we couldn’t use. Toilet and shower block was stunningly bad. Mould, bugs, spider webs, overpowering smell of sewage and was so far away from the pitches by the marina. We didn’t feel safe going during the night. We used the toilets when we had to, but didn’t use the showers. 4th facility not used. Total rip off. We stayed much nicer places for way less - avoid!!

Mi è piaciuto The location was great for visiting Bruges. Straight forward public transport and helpful welcome info provided by the staff. Cleanliness was good although shower and toilets could do with updating but didn’t have any problems with the pay system for the shower. Pitches were nicely spaced out and private.

Non mi è piaciuto The noise level however, from the neighbouring field, was horrendous. Granted, not the site’s fault, but please check if there are events running there before booking. The circus played loud booming music for 12 hours of the day and night (2pm - 2am) with fireworks close to midnight. My partner and i resorted to taking sleeping pills because we had so much driving to do the following day and needed the sleep. This lasted all weekend. Ruined our stay unfortunately, we had no peace whatsoever!
