Mi è piaciuto Great base to go exploring North Devon. Staff are helpful and friendly. 20 minutes from Barnstable with supermarkets and big stores if needed. Nice enough walks around the site. Fully serviced pitch was as expected and glad the gray water drain was at ground level and not raised up as some are. Pitch was flat, gravel to the side and a small grass pitch with a bench. (Needed jet washing)

Non mi è piaciuto At the time of our 8 day visit, only two male toilets available out of three for the majority of the site. Not enough toilets for the size of this site.Having to stand and wait in a line for the loo should not be a thing. There is no signage around the site. So for a new visitor, you dont know where your pitch is, as the map looks simple, bit it is not to scale. The fishing pools are all wired off, so only for fishermen/women. Other sites have the pools as a nice place to walk around. More like a commercial fishery than an additional to the site. The fully serviced pitches are closer together than most sites. You feel on top of each other. There should be a separate car park, as allowing cars to park infront of the tightly not pitches, just makes the row look like a terraced street. Building work going on and a constant movement of Caravans coming out of storage and being put on pitches ready for incoming visitors. This could be a great site, but the pitches are just not relaxing due to the tight nit edge to edge.

Mi è piaciuto Pitch was flat. Local village is nice. Co Op store is a 10 min walk and useful.

Non mi è piaciuto Security is none existent. No booking in or barrier. Just drive to your pitch. Very public site. We had pitch 10. We had a drove of people walking past looking into our motorhome. Fellow campers have respect but people walking past were looking at us eating and standing there. 20+ minutes drive to get into York. River taxi not frequent enough. Walk to the old iron bridge is not good. Bit of a dump walking past the unkempt house boat locations. The amount of mens toilets is woeful, two toilets for the amount of people on site. The grey waste point was full, spilling over into the ground. Only one person on site, picks up litter, then heads to his boat to eat Pizza. I could go on. Never going there again.

Mi è piaciuto Shar and Dave are lovely, very welcoming and very helpful. The site is immaculate, and the toilet/shower block is pristine. We fell in love with their dog Prince, and wish him good health. See you both again on our next trip New Years Eve. X

Mi è piaciuto Very Friendly staff. Very helpful. Lovely site with many areas for all types of visitor. 30 mins walk into Stourport. Clean and modern shower/toilet block. Well kept and clean site

Non mi è piaciuto There is a school on the edge of the site, so if you are close to reception, you will get screaming kids, as they do, during playground times. Even the teachers shout!
