Mi è piaciuto We visited on a wet and windy August bank holiday. On arrival we received a warm welcome, shown where the facilities were and given information on pitching options and site rules. You can chose your own pitch and there is so much space to chose from that no one is on top of each other. There are shower and compostable toilet blocks dotted around the fields with a main block of traditional toilets, washing up facilities and waste disposal. These were kept clean and tidy throughout our stay. The shower’s were powerful and warm and probably one of the best I have used whilst camping. The number of toilets and showers available meant there was never a queue for either of them during our stay. The park and tyre swing, along with the various outdoor toys available to collect from reception were a big hit with our 2 children. During our stay the fire pit rule was lifted and we were able to buy logs and kindling with fire pit provided by the site. The Jurassic pork breakfast bap was great value and tasty and local ice cream was available as an after dinner treat. Mobile signal wasn’t the best - but sometimes that can be a good thing! We loved our stay here and already planning on returning next year.

Mi è piaciuto We stayed for 4 nights in May and loved everything about our stay. The facilities were clean and tidy and showers lovely and warm. The showers are un adjustable and fixed to a comfortable temperature - although with the heat during our stay, it would have been nice to be able to alter this to cool us down. The individual fridges for each pitch allowed us to safely store food and cold drinks during a 30 degree heatwave. There was also access to plugs to charge any phones or electronic devices. Each pitch is spacious with a covered seating and cooking area, and a fire pit with wood available from the farm at a small cost. The views are to die for and the pictures don’t do it any justice. The park and green space for ball games meant the kids were entertained throughout our trip and made some friends too. Overall a brilliant stay and we will definitely be returning in the future.

Mi è piaciuto We stayed for 2 nights in the shepherds hut, we are used to camping but wanted something a little bit different for a couple of days to celebrate a birthday. On arrival the hut was clean and tidy and had everything you would need. The shower and toilet facilities were close by and were clean and replenished throughout our stay, there was a fridge/freezer for guests to use and washing up facilities, microwave and kettle, although we also had an induction hob and kettle in the hut. We were given a bag of firewood and there was enough in here to use for both nights of our stay. We loved how peaceful the location is and the hosts were available to help with any queries we had. Our children loved it and we will definitely be back in the future.
