Mi è piaciuto This campsite is a hidden gem with a lovely view of Mam Tor. The walking path is near the entrance if you fancy a stroll up to Mam Tor. The site is far enough outside of Castleton for quietness and close enough to go for a drink and walk back. It’s a basic site with washing facilities (plates and cutlery), drinking water and super clean toilets. Plus a cute honesty box. Every time we’ve visited this site, everyone has been friendly and respectful not to be noisy. The field is big so you don’t feel like you’re on top of anyone. Can’t recommend it enough.

Non mi è piaciuto I honestly can’t think of how you can make it better. People will always bring up that there’s no showers but for a one-night stay and to keep the cost down, I have no problem with it. Nothing that a pack of wet wipes can’t fix :)
