Mi è piaciuto We had a great week. Stunning views, good entertainment in the evenings. Staff were great. Food was great with huge portions! Had the special on the last evening (lamb shank). My daughter kept ordering the chicken wings. If you order a side of chips it is more than enough for 2 people! Washing up area under cover. We plan to go back next spring. Read others reviews about the noise of the traffic, but it didn't bother us it wasn't that bad.

Non mi è piaciuto The wasps were over friendly, kept entering our tent and invading our personal space!! Plenty of bins for rubbish but people were dumping bulky items instead of taking it with them. Someone actually dumped a paddleboard, not fair on the owners of the farm , as they have to dispose of it.

Mi è piaciuto Can pitch up where we want. We asked if we could stay longer on our leaving day because it was a hot day and we were told because it was non electric we could stay all day so we left about 4pm instead of 11am. Love the way they have set up a bar/cafe. Our neighbours were sheep which a few came around the tent. Lovely views. Even though there were children there it was the quietest camp we have slept in. No one was up at silly o'clock making a noise. Would definitely go back. As its down a country lane there is no traffic noise. The clear sky on the first night was beautiful, no light pollution. Price of beer was quite reasonable for a campsite.

Non mi è piaciuto Because its on a hill it can be quite windy, as it was on our last night there.

Mi è piaciuto A beautiful campsite. The hosts, we're there to greet us, they were around a lot if you needed anything. Very clean, small kitchen with a kettle, ideal for me as I'm an early bird so I could go and make a cuppa without disturbing anyone. Some reviews said about the noise of traffic but it didn't bother us. It depends if you're used to it. We will definitely go back.
