Non mi è piaciuto Queuing for showers. But on a positive as you only had 4 mins to shower for £1, the queue went down quite quickly! Sad we couldn’t have a fire pit or BBQ but understandable with the dry weather

Mi è piaciuto Had a great experience at this pop up site. Showers better than most I’ve been to! Extremely clean toilets and fantastic location situated at the base of Catbells! Staff very friendly.

Mi è piaciuto Very well organised site and staff very pleasant. Considering it was school holidays it was a very quiet site. Great location to visit places like Bakewell and Buxton. An added bonus was free showers!

Mi è piaciuto Lovely location and pitches nice and spacious with added bonus of fire pit and picnic table on each one! The campers kitchen was a great idea and provided a kettle and gas hob plus cutlery and crockery which came in very handy when the rain came and we were unable to light the bbq! Showers very basic but did the job!

Non mi è piaciuto The only negative was there was only one sink outside the unisex loos. It was a bit awkward washing and brushing teeth whilst someone was in the loo! Also it would have been very handy to have access to a freezer to put our ice blocks! We were there for 5 days but after 2 days our food was no longer cold so unfortunately had to bin most of it!

We will take onboard your comments about the sink and possible install another one by next season, I'm sorry you felt awkward brushing your teeth while someone was in the loo but I don't know how another sink would solve that problem? All the campsites I know have sinks in the toilet blocks so I wouldn't know where else to put it? I wouldn't call our showers VERY BASIC , they are rainfall showers and each have a boiler to their own meaning each shower gets very hot water and no drop in temperature or pressure. unusual for a campsite! Campers usually bring their own car fridges to store food, It does say in the description of the camp that we don't have freezers but now you have raised the issue I will think of a freezer for next season. Thank again for staying with us.

Mi è piaciuto Everything. Perfect location. Large pitches. The owners have thought of everything. We were allowed a fire pit which was an added bonus as long as you use the slab they provide to protect the grass. Large freezer for your ice with free ice cubes. Use of fridge and milk supplies with an honesty box. They even had a kettle and microwave. The showers were immaculate! Saturday nights have stone baked pizzas on site. They were gorgeous. Highly recommend! Nice 5 minute walk down to the local pub! Will definitely be back! Perfect!!

Mi è piaciuto The location was perfect. 10 minute walk into Ulverston! Very basic camping but has everything needed. Although my partner had a freezing cold shower I went in after and had a lovely warm one!!

Mi è piaciuto Location was ideal and we had practically the whole field to ourselves! Very basic but loved the converted cattle transporter showers!! Lovely and warm! Graham was very helpful! Although we didn’t listen to his directions and got lost trying to find the local pub!!

Mi è piaciuto Everything. Especially the locality to the village with a few lovely pubs! Not to mention the amazing toilets and showers! Cannot state how fantastic these facilities are for a camp/caravan site.

Mi è piaciuto Delightful campsite! On arrival, we were put in a quieter field as there were a large group of DoE in one of the fields. Handy shop on site. Nice washing up facilities under cover and lovely warm showers. Very clean and well kept site. Very good location for some nice walks. We walked from the campsite to Cat Bells.

Non mi è piaciuto The only downside was there was only one room for drying hair, brushing teeth, etc. We were lucky we didn't have to wait too long but can I can imagine it would get extremely busy in the summer months.

Mi è piaciuto What an amazing weekend at Ings Kippers! Jonathan greeted us with chocolate covered Kendal mint cake and offered to take our luggage, and us, to the pitch at the top of the hill in his buggy! Fantastic views and an excellent host! We even tried the outdoor shower which was really nice. Handy location for lovely walks and several breweries in walking distance. Cannot recommend enough. Jonathan was an absolute joy and couldn't do enough, not to mention the lovely Daphne! Will definitely be back! Couldn't have picked a better weekend

Mi è piaciuto Very peaceful Friendly campers Very welcoming hosts. We appreciated the welcome pack which listed recommendations of places to eat and useful telephone numbers We received a lovely duck and chicken egg the first morning we stayed Very clean toilet/washing facilities Lovely pub nearby. My partner would also recommend the steak and ale pie! Very accommodating and very reasonably priced food!
