Mi è piaciuto Lovely peaceful location on the outskirts of York. Toilets and showers extremely clean. York is easily assessed by hourly local bus (No. 40) which stops at the entrance to campsite or Uber - which was cheap. Farm cafe serving gorgeous food on site. Haxby village 5 mins drive, or Uber, (unfortunately not really walkable),which has a great variety of pubs and restaurants. Can recommend Paddy Field Chinese restaurant- fantasic meal and very friendly service, and the Red Lion but next door.

Mi è piaciuto Fabulous small campsite in a forest setting very close to Pontchateau. Very warm and friendly welcome from hosts. Large shaded grass pitches. Excellent, clean toilet/showering/ washing facilities. Lovely snack/ bar area with plenty of outside seating. Hot and cold snacks and drinks available. We had a delish, large, takeaway pizza. Small shop on site with great variety of items/supplies. Small animals on sites too - chickens, hens, and guinea pigs, in enclised area, small birds in an avery, rabbits and small goats roaming freely around. A lovely stay. Woukd have no hesitation in recommending a stay here whether it be short or long.

Mi è piaciuto Booked this at the last minute - what a find Excellent small well maintained campsite. Hosts were wonderful - very welcoming and friendly. Toilets and washing facilities always spotlessly clean. Lovely bar area both indoor and outdoor seating areas - drinks, hot and cold snacks were readily available - a lovely relaxing atmosphere. Site also has the added bonus of swimming pool. We were there the night before Bastille Day and were treated to a wonderful firework display - taking place in the local stadium behing the campsite. All in all a gem if a find and a wonderful stay. Would highly recommend without hesitation

Mi è piaciuto Everything. Great campsite, large grass pitches and lovely doune pitches - it was hot but very windy so being enclosed in a grass pitch, rather than on the dunes, was perfect. Lovely beaches beyond the dunes. Toilet/washing facilities were excellent , always spotlessly clean. Reception staff were very friendly and turned their hands to all tasks. Site has two cafe/bars one near the reception and the other down by beach. - we were there on Friday and there was entertainment including live band/music - fabulous. Visiting food trucks was also an added bonus - fabulous fish and chips accompanied by a few glasses of rose was a lovely way to end our stay. Can highly recommend without any hesitation.

Mi è piaciuto Lovely quite campite situated 12 km from Mont St-Michel. Excellent size pitches, toilets, showers and washing--up areas always spotlessly clean. Very warm welcome from reception staff. Small outdoor snack bar with lovely sitting area - serving food and drink only a two minute walk away. All in all a lovely pleasant stay. Would highly recommend.
