Mi è piaciuto Great relaxed holiday village atmosphere. Really well laid out site with lots of open green areas, woodland and lakes. Spacious pitches near to the swimming lake. Bar, pizza and live music was a great start to the holiday. Kids loved the play area and bouncy castle by the bar. Breakfast in the cafe was very good and catered well for gluten free and vegan options. Loved the goats and they were clearly well cared for. Friendly and welcoming staff.

Mi è piaciuto Great stopover point on the coast road from Saltburn to Whitby and onwards. We had Pitch 9 on the front row which has a long view of the Abbey if you stand in the gap in the hedge in the corner, (a viewing platform in that corner would be great). Nice level pitches and streamlined SMS check-in service. Friendly but brief interaction with the owner to check we were settled, good SMS communication. Dog friendly site.

Non mi è piaciuto Pitches were very close together, the last pitch in the front row was very limited for space against a hedge with no grass area.

Mi è piaciuto Really liked the surrounding hillsides, trees and grazing animals from the bottom field, but that is further from the main facilities at the entrance. Check-in was straightforward and can select your own pitches together if travelling as a group. If you have a large vehicle would advise to stay at the top end of the bottom field and not to go down the slope if it's wet slippy conditions.

Mi è piaciuto Very organised site and well laid out level pitches. Very good modern facilities including washing machine in the indoor wash-up area. Great location for visiting nearby Aysgarth waterfalls and other attractions nearby. Lovely views and friendly atmosphere.

Mi è piaciuto I'm so pleased we found this site on our journey from the Dales to the east coast, nestled in the footings of the Cleveland Way. Spectacular setting. It was good that we could share a bigger pitch with our travel companions. Excellent facilities, especially the shower cabinets within the cubicles. Dog walking meadow was lovely too. We were encouraged by the manager to drive up the hill road to Lord Stones Country Park with breathtaking views, a stone circle and excellent cafe. From up there you can see the site and appreciate its setting in beautiful countryside. Dinner at the Black Swan recommended. I also had a lovely chat with the owner's son and we wish him good luck with the Britains Got Talent auditions 🤞🤞

Mi è piaciuto Good quiet location if stopping off en-route. Well thought out landscaped site with the pond in the middle offering a central view and some privacy. Level pitch for easy setup. Friendly manager.

Non mi è piaciuto The name of the site is a bit misleading if you don't know the area. The lack of hot water was disappointing, especially at the price point (£40 + £3 dog) which was the most expensive site on our journey around the UK. Shower in your motorhome if you can, otherwise bring plenty of £1 coins if you want a shower.

Mi è piaciuto Wonderful peaceful location on the edge of Savernake forest. Warm welcome from the wardens. Great that you can select your own pitch, lots of areas to choose (non-electric is further from road). Immediate access into the forest for dog walks and kids to explore. Dark skies and lovely to hear the bird song in the morning. Definitely planning to return. The warden said that Sunday - Friday is the best for quieter stays, although they do limit numbers so it's never too busy.

Mi è piaciuto The owner greeting us warmly and there was a peaceful community vibe. The site is spacious and has a wide field of view of open countryside. Free to choose our pitches as a group and being able to have a decent campfire. Walking up the hill to the stone circle to take in the incredible views of the Cleveland Way. Good facilities, including showers and hot water. Also liked the on-site shop, worth a browse. A great spot to start walking the Cleveland Way to Saltburn.
