Non mi è piaciuto Some people on the site were absolutely awful. The complete lack of awareness, consideration, and basic respect from a few guests on what’s meant to be a family-friendly campsite was unbelievable. They were blasting loud music with flashing lights until midnight (and likely would’ve carried on later if the owner hadn’t stepped in), shouting late into the night, then started karaoke at 9am the next morning. To make it worse, they were annoyed when the owner asked them to turn it down. The level of entitlement was staggering. Not the owners fault, but it ruined our night, maybe some stricter enforcements could be implemented but can’t give a bad score for the poor behaviour of others.

Mi è piaciuto Hidden gem! Gorgeous views, tranquil site, close to local towns and not too far away from Ullswater! Lovely river nearby too where you can kayak/go white water rafting. Ollie was a great host, looked after everyone and was very responsive. The site had a toilet and a water tap that was drinkable. Ollie was also very accommodating towards our anxious dog. Brilliant stay, will be back!
