Mi è piaciuto We travelled to Newton Mill on public transport with a four year old and a one year old and all our camping gear and it was a breeze! Several people on the bus knew exactly where the campsite was and showed us where to get off and which way to go, It's obviously thought very highly of in the community. The number five bus takes you from straight outside Bath railway station to a few hundred metres from the campsite entrance - perfect! We camped in the 'Meadow' which is across a stream and behind some trees from the rest of the campsite so even though there was a steady stream of cars, caravans and campervans coming to and from the site we hardly noticed them at all and had no worries about our boys roaming around and exploring the meadow. All the staff were very friendly, particularly the maintainance staff (our four year old spent hours watching their mini dumper truck and carts drive around!). The staff in the shop were always helpful. I particularly enjoyed walking in the woods at the bottom of the campsite, they are beautiful and very well cared for. We are already making plans to go back with friends!

Non mi è piaciuto Although the locals were very helpful and directed us to the campsite from the bus stop it would be great if there was some signage to point the way for those who choose to come on public transport.
