Mi è piaciuto Great little site near Heptonstall, quiet and great views from camp. The owner is well organised, friendly and keeps on top of things.

Non mi è piaciuto Portaloos are a bit of a thing these days with pop-up sites, it's no biggie but I'd rather have a proper block. Also felt that camper vans and tens should be segregated on the fields. The owner did explain that at the time, there was a field which wasn't being used due to grass growth. So perhaps there is usually some sort of separation.

Mi è piaciuto Great little farm site, decent shower blocks and toilets. They have a little shop selection (similar to a tuck-shop) in the farmhouse entrance. For a few hours at weekends and Bank Holidays, they have a little pop-up hot food van with breakfasts and sometimes hot-potatoes in the evenings. Short walk away from Mam Tor and the Hope Valley. Just to note, check-in is in the farmhouse on the right hand side

Mi è piaciuto Plenty of room on this campsite, there are even some picnic benches and little shelters. Nice and quiet site, well situated near Barley and Pendle Hill for walks - there's plenty to explore. There's a clean toilet block and shower. Decent pubs in the village, a short walk up the riverbank. I didn't (think) I saw any member of staff so I can't comment on that.

Non mi è piaciuto There's a site rule about parking cars near tents - many sites do this now for several reasons - safety, noise reduction etc - it makes sense. However, there were people on site who, for whatever reason, decided to drive their cars to their tents - so it looks like you can do what you want.
