Mi è piaciuto Location to the beach, Chichester, Portsmouth. Large pitches with plenty of space. Enough toilets and showers for size of site. Outdoor showers were hot and a nice touch. Plenty of go-cars, scooters, ride-ons for kids of all ages to whizz around the site - kept my teenagers occupied for hours. So many thoughtful extras and considerate touches - like the ride on toys, free to use firepits and BBQs, eye wash station and accessible first aid, disposable shower mats and much more.

Non mi è piaciuto Proximity to a busy road with traffic noise throughout the night. Although there were lovely extra touches, they weren't clean. eg: BBQs were cakes with old food and grease. Easily remedied with provision of a wire brush to clean before/after use. Tired decor in need of paint and tlc.

Mi è piaciuto The location - so close to many beaches, National Trust sites, beauty spots. The views from the camping field were lovely, gazing over the sea with a cuppa in the mornings was delightful. The ability to have a camp fire in the evenings - you could hire raised fire pits for £3 per night. £8 per bag of logs and £5 per bag of kindling (both decent size). The on-site food van. Not good for gluten free people like me but very handy for the kids and lovely staff, too. Always hot water - each shower had its own boiler.

Non mi è piaciuto The pitch sizes and proximity to each other - very cramped. There weren’t enough toilets/showers for the amount of people on the site. We had 5 shepherds hut type blocks with 1 toilet and 1 shower in each. There was our camping field with at least 50 pitches plus the glamping field people using them. Queues were frequent and often long. The toilets/showers weren’t serviced regularly enough (once a day). They were dirty and never had enough toilet paper. No signs asking people to leave as they found them, mop buckets provided but water dirty and no cleaning agents. People were taking their dogs in to shower them. Noisy evenings - one night we had a group of 4-5 tents of youngsters pitch together. They played loud music, swearing and shouting until 2am. Not ok for a family pitch and rules weren’t enforced.
