Mi è piaciuto Brilliant little holiday park We stayed at St Agnes Holiday Park on a fully serviced touring pitch and honestly, we had a cracking time. The park itself is lovely. Really well kept, clean and tidy, and everything just feels like it’s looked after properly. The staff were all really welcoming and always happy to help when needed. And then there’s Charlie the dog… who, quite frankly, deserves his own 5-star review. 🐶😂 The toilets and showers were brilliant. Modern, clean and really well maintained — which, when you’re camping, is pretty high up the list of things that matter! The WiFi was a bit hit and miss while we were there, but to be honest, we couldn’t really give a toss. We were in Cornwall. There were beaches to explore, places to see and far too many pasties to eat, so sitting around worrying about WiFi wasn’t exactly top of the agenda! There’s also a gym, sauna and steam room on site for £15, which is a nice option if you fancy pretending you’re being healthy while on holiday. 😂 If you’ve got a dog, there’s a little grassy area for them to do their business too, which is handy. The food on site was good as well, and they’ll actually deliver it straight to your pitch. While we were there they did a Tex-Mex night and it was bloody brilliant. Hopefully they bring that back because I’d happily have that again! The location is also spot on. Most of the beaches we wanted to visit were around 20–30 minutes away, so it made a great base for getting out and exploring Cornwall without spending half your holiday stuck in the van. There’s also a really good bakery called Prima about 15 minutes away — definitely worth a visit! All in all, we really enjoyed our stay. It’s not somewhere we’d just sit on site all week because there’s far too much to see around Cornwall, but as a base camp for exploring, it’s absolutely spot on. Great site, great facilities, friendly staff and a bloody good Tex-Mex. What more do you want? 😂 We’d definitely come back.

Mi è piaciuto We recently stayed at Pen Y Bont Campsite for the first time, and it definitely won’t be our last. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful, making us feel right at home. The facilities were excellent. The shower blocks were spotless, with shampoo and body wash provided, which was a really nice touch. Having your own sink area to shave, brush your teeth and get ready made everything feel much more comfortable. The washing-up facilities were also great, and having an on-site laundrette was really useful for a longer stay. The entire site was exceptionally well maintained, and you could see the facilities were cleaned regularly throughout the day. The Wi-Fi was a little hit and miss, but honestly, when you’re camping it’s nice to disconnect from the world for a while, so it really wasn’t an issue for us. The location is fantastic too. We walked into Bala, which took around 15–20 minutes, enjoying beautiful views of Bala Lake along the way. Bala itself has plenty of lovely independent shops, cafés and places to explore. One of the highlights of our trip was paddleboarding on Bala Lake. Parking was reasonably priced, and the paddleboarding pass was great value too, making it an affordable and memorable day out. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better campsite. Fantastic facilities, a beautiful location, and genuinely lovely staff. We’d happily stay here again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Pen Y Bont Campsite to anyone visiting the area.

Mi è piaciuto We had a great stay here. We used this site as a tester for our new campervan so we loaded up all four of us and made our way to this lovely site. My kids loved it as there were horses nearby, some sheep and lambs for them to see. The park on site was great for them. The facilities on site were great, well kept and very clean with an outdoor washing area. We only stayed one night but would definitely stay here again.
