Mi è piaciuto Great location for exploring the Pennines. Simple access to walks (easy and difficult) and we enjoyed exploring and swimming in the river next to the site. The site itself is lovely, spacious pitches with well located electric and water points. Facilities were great with proper showers (no push buttons with only 10 seconds of water). Overall it felt like a site which had been designed by owners who understood what campers/motor homers need. Vibe of the site was friendly and relaxed and every site should have an Engine Shed for a quick drink or dinner for when you don't want to cook. We will definitely be returning.

Mi è piaciuto Wonderful site. Fantastic swimming pool which is open all day with no need to book or pay extra. Short walk down to the beach which is very rocky but had amazing rockpooling and where you could still swim on the higher tides. Site was very well maintained and while the facilities are due to be upgraded, what was there was still very good with lovely hot showers. Staff were all.very.friendly and helpful. Finally the views across the bay were beautiful. Will definitely be returning.

Non mi è piaciuto Not a dislike, but something to note. The playground is next to the Peregrine pitches. We have children and are used to the noise.and the staff are very good at making sure everyone leaves at dusk. However if your looking for peace and quiet between 7pm - 9pm (the witching hours for kids on a campsite) consider other pitches or at least ask not to be sited in Peregrine 4 or 5.
