Mi è piaciuto Had a great impromptu stay with my son Friday - Sunday. Weather was good (cold but clear), which always helps. The site is well spread out with 3 lakes running down the middle. Pitches are virtually all flat as pancakes which is great as we were in a tent. Facilities are clean and on point. Love little features such as honesty section for hot drinks and info about local walks in the kitchen area. The chap who was on site is really helpful and down to earth. Love that the site has virtually no lighting at night as the stars are great up on the moor when it’s clear so there’s no light pollution. Plus I think it helps to keep people as quiet as possible when the sun goes down. There’s a track from the road, which is just wide enough for 2 cars but me and my lad hiked up the 3 mile track from Skipton, which is steep at the start but flattens out. There’s a cold water swim/sauna available on site too, which looks good. Think it’s booked through a separate company though. Hearing the squirms of people getting in the cold water was hilarious 🤣

Non mi è piaciuto The only thing I could possible suggest for this site is maybe have some kind of vending machine for snacks / drinks.
