Mi è piaciuto Quiet, peaceful location, with very well looked after facilities. Great for kids, too, with a play area and large open spaces. Lots of things to do within a few miles, too. Wayne is also a legend! We will be back.

Mi è piaciuto Very handy for a stopover off the M5. Great facilities - spotlessly clean. Friendly and relaxed. Flexible on pitch position. Awesome dog exercise area, with throwing balls and poo-bag dispensers (only dog people will understand how useful this is!) Loads of little touches like the sweets and fresh flowers in the washrooms.

Mi è piaciuto Clean, very friendly, great facilities, close to the channel tunnel. We only wanted somewhere to stop for the night after coming through the channel tunnel, before heading south. We loved the site. They were so friendly and welcoming, and we would have loved to stay longer. The facilities are great with loads to do for the kids. There is a restaurant on site with basic but wholesome food, and a welcome beer after a day of delays! We will definitely be back. Perfect.

Mi è piaciuto Relaxed, loads of space for the kids, friendly, easy access to woodland walks, quiet. We had a great weekend here in April 2021, staying alongside friends. The owners were really friendly, and kept in touch to make sure everything was OK. They were interested in our thoughts as to how to make things better, too, as they had only recently taken over the site, which was very refreshing. They have obviouosly already spent a lot of time and effort refreshing and upgrading things. The kids made friends instantly, and had a great time playing on the football pitch and in the play area, as well as exploring the woodland close to the site. These woodlands lead through a track under the motorway to the much larger Dunkery Woods, and there is a lovely walk to a small lake there, as well as onward to the broader countryside. Although on the map the site is close to the M50, this is a very quiet motorway, and we couldn't really hear it at all from the site, so don't let that put you off. A great weekend, beautiful bit of England, very relaxing. We will be back.

Non mi è piaciuto The waste and toilet water disposal could do with an upgrade, and when we visited the site had just been taken over by new owners, and I am sure this is on their list. A minor niggle though, and not one that should put anyone off visiting.

Mi è piaciuto The staff were excellent and the facilities were well looked after. The kids loved the play areas and the pool was awesome. There is a lovely bar area which is beautifully situated in the old buildings of the chateau. We stayed there to break the journey south and north as it is a convenient 1.5 hours or so from both Caen and Cherbourg ferry ports. Talking with people who were staying for longer, they were having a great time, too.

Mi è piaciuto Great facilities, especially for families. Showers and washrooms were regularly cleaned through the day and were always spotless. The site was full when we were there, but the spacing and landscaping of the pitches, with high hedges and plentiful trees, meant that it never felt crowded, and you had plenty of privacy. The swimming pools were both excellent and the play area and sports field were always busy with children making friends and playing in groups. I would recommend this site to anyone. Beautiful location. Fantastic facilities and a great welcome. We will be back!
