Mi è piaciuto Lovely small quiet site. Grass field is nice and flat right across. Two clean toilets with sinks, plus a small room with a big sink, kettle and fridge. It is a working farm and the camping field is right by the cow sheds and the horse stables. There were animal noises which I liked but others might find intrusive. The family live on site in a beautifully kept house and garden adjoining the camping field. There are no showers or honesty shop. We walked to the nearest pub for food which was OK in daylight but I wouldn't do it in the dark as it's along a busy lane with no pavement. I liked the peaceful location which I guess doesn't attract big noisy groups - when we visited we were the only campers there.

Non mi è piaciuto If you came with young children you'd have to supervise them closely as they could get into all sorts of bother around the farm. The camping field is very safe though and enclosed by a fence.

Mi è piaciuto What a little gem! Feels like you're in the middle of nowhere but actually 10 minutes drive from pubs serving food and 30 minutes from Blackpool. So tranquil. I liked the individual pitches with wildflower meadow between them, so nobody walks right by your tent. The owners were so friendly and helpful. The campsite attracted mostly families, and the kind of families who say hello and help out fellow campers. The facilities were excellent for such a small site: flush toilets, free hot showers, hot water washing up station, communal fridge, freezer and coffee machine, honesty shack selling most things you might want. We will be back very soon.
