Mi è piaciuto Loved loved loved this place. Very well kept, peaceful, love the quirky check in Reception in a red telephone box, lots of space, surrounded by mature trees and hedges. Relaxed feel. Facilities are good and well kept. Will be back here.

Mi è piaciuto Lovely views from this site. Very quiet too being a long way from any main roads. Field had a slight slope to it so wheel ramps help level your camper if you have one but it’s well mowed and fairly spacious. Goats are always a nice feature, the kids spent hours with them.

Non mi è piaciuto Only two toilets - just not enough for Friday and Saturday nights, you end up queuing up which is not great when you have small children with you. It also felt like the toilets were sorted on the Friday and not touched again all weekend so they got worse and worse condition, toilets seats sliding off when you sit on them and no bog roll so if you want a final poo before leaving you’re better off finding a bush.

We had a family event and we would ordinarily undertake all cleaning and maintenance ourselves throughout. We’ve also made the decision to reduce the number of pitches by 15 to reduce pressure during busy times and make the stay more enjoyable for our guests. Mi è piaciuto Had a lovely stay here for a night in out tentbox. Ground is flat, gorgeous views and plenty of space. Toilets are clean and well looked after. Sheep and cows for the children to see. We will be back. We arrived late on Saturday evening and let ourselves in, owner came to say hello the following morning which was nice.

Mi è piaciuto Loved this place. Last minute booking on a Friday for the following Saturday night. Turn up and park where you like. Very easy going feel to the place. Tucked away and very peaceful. Hot weekend so having the river with parts shallow enough and in the trees for the kids to paddle in was a real treat.

Non mi è piaciuto Areas next to the river down the very far end away from the toilets smelt like wee. Some big groups park around entry points to the river making it a bit difficult or awkward, feels like you’re walking through their pitch but just go for it and if they don’t like it it’s tough luck because the instructions do say not to block peoples access to the river. Only 4 toilets and one washing up sink so when it’s very busy there is a small Que. they did seem to be kept clean and stocked with

Mi è piaciuto Basic campsite as described. We stayed for a night and as it was rainy there wasn’t many other guest, just a few other people who look like they live on site. Plenty nearby such as fish and chips, Chinese, pubs and a Coop. Nice little walks nearby. Toilet block comprises 1 shower, 1 sink and two toilets, it’s unisex.

Non mi è piaciuto The site as a whole looks like it needs a bit of a tidy up. There was an old hot tub that had dropped to bits right next to the toilet block, tables knocked over laying on their sides. On the particular night we stayed we were woken up at 2.30am by someone shouting for a lost dog, went on for about 2 hours. Not the sites fault, just unfortunate.

Mi è piaciuto Lovely little site with a bit of a magical feel as you approach through narrow trees. Stayed here for one night over the bank holiday weekend with our roof tent. Booked very last minute arriving within a few hours of booking, no issues. Back to basics, turn up, choose somewhere to pitch and enjoy. Facilities consist of one single toilet (proper bog, not a portaloo) which was kept clean but I imagine it could be busy when there are more people on the site.

Non mi è piaciuto Two big dogs in a pen between the site and the toilet block, quite intimidating for little children.
