Mi è piaciuto Such friendly and accomodating staff.when we arrived we were shown our litch and around the exceptional facilities. we had booked the non electric hardstanding pitch but When booking we didn't notice the option for Barkers Bay. which is a fully enclosed and secure pitch perfect for people with dogs (ours is friendly with all and everything but guards "his van and pitch" like his house) or small children. Luckily they had availability and we upgraded. I have to say this was one of the best camping experiences we have had especially for our 9 year old Staffordshire bull terrier, he had his own garden to run around and play and we could fully relax no one elses dog would enter our pitch and make him bark ,which was worth the extra charge. If only all campsites were able to offer such an option we would always pay more. There was a lovely walk straight from the site. The farm Animals were great to watch and fuss. The shower was like being in a hotel rather than caampsite.

Mi è piaciuto Friendly welcome, site was level and well maintained. Toilets were spotless. A nice easy wander into the village for pubs/shops etc.

Mi è piaciuto Peaceful, quiet site.Good views of Bamburgh castle and out over the farne islands. Toilets were clean.

Non mi è piaciuto Nothing in particular however we visited when the site was quiet, on a busy period the toilets may have been an issue due to the small amount.

Mi è piaciuto Friendly and welcoming staff. Quiet and peaceful, great location for exploring Kielder. Facilities were clean , hot showers, Bar and cafe.

Non mi è piaciuto Absolutely nothing to do with the owners but first night the midges took the edge off a fantastic weekend.

Mi è piaciuto The site was exactly what we had hoped. we recieved a message from Jade with a dropped pin map to make finding it easy, we replied when we were enroute and were told to find ourselves a pitch and once we were set up she would pop down to see us. We decided not to fully setup but to walk the dog first, we let Jade know and she came to find us and pass us a discount voucher for the local pub (well worth a visit). Once we had returned and set up Jade came to see us and drop some kindling and logs for the fire. She was really helpful and friendly. The site was really quiet and everyone was spread out over the 4 fields. The toilets were immaculate (I noticed Jade cleaning them early saturday morning and again before we left mid morning). The pitch we found was flat and the views were fantastic.
