Mi è piaciuto Emma was a very helpful friendly host. Loved the kitchen facilities and use of power points. Bathroom facilities clean and good. Thoughtful touches like fire pits and pub garden tables. Lovely to see the horses and feel immersed in nature (lots of owls).

Non mi è piaciuto The only drawback was that there was just 1 toilet. But only 4 pitches in use so just needed to be patient.

Dal gestore: Yes there are a lot of owls around at the moment. They’re great to listen to in the evening. So glad you enjoyed the tranquility. You’ll be pleased to know we are now 2 toilets 🎉. Our compost loo is up and running near the camping field. We plan another shower and flushing loo first next season !

Mi è piaciuto Beautiful, spacious, well-maintained with very friendly and helpful staff. Our pitches were big and peaceful. The feeling of camping in nature was wonderful, with owls in the night, fly-pasts by honking geese at intervals day and night, and beady-eyed goats in the wood. Loved the lay-out with the ponds making the place feel cooler on our very hot stay. Good shop too - we'd have tried the bar and pizza but were there on the wrong days.
