Mi è piaciuto Really lovely friendly chilled campsite. Location was great, off the beaten track & facilities were what we needed - clean toilet facilities attended to a few times a day, clean & warm showers, little tuck shop selling essentials & lovely hot chocolates. Patrick & staff were very friendly & accommodating.

Non mi è piaciuto Nothing to dislike - only small issue with chemical waste disposal having a nasty smell, probably out of the control of the camp due to very dry weather. Nobody was pitched by there, so wouldn’t be an issue for campers

Mi è piaciuto Lovely site. Very picturesque, lots of country walks in quaint countryside. On-site ponds with fishing and Tennis court. Ducks & ducklings walking past in the morning, a few frogs jumping in our tent & a cows can be heard in other fields. Nice wildlife walk around perimeter of site. Friendly receptionist when booking in. Camping area we pitched our tent on was behind a hedge, which gave us a sense of secluded ness, with a few other tents to the side, we really liked that. Swimming pool was great. Toilets & showers were clean & maintained. Close to Chester & Wrexham so we could get out & about. Highly recommend ‘Park in Past’ for kayaking & paddleboarding. Shops 20 minutes away by car. Site generally looks well kept. Nice site if you prefer secluded ness, quietness & to get away from hustle & bustle.

Non mi è piaciuto The games room is old & games not maintained or working properly. Small shop & cafe open between 9-4 when we were mainly off site, strange hours as when we were hungry cafe was closed, although food looks nice on menu, we never tried. Again shop closed when we were about. Some of the campers were not friendly, obviously this is no reflection on the site itself - just our first experience of unfriendliness whilst camping. Not just one camper but a few, no ‘good mornings’ or friendly chatter. We found this very strange as usually campers are quite friendly. My son also commented that some of the children would not play with him when he asked. Again no reflection on the site, just our personal experience. Site was quiet for August during school holidays with a few pitches empty.
