Mi è piaciuto What a lovely site, great welcome from the wardens, who had great local knowledge. Facilities had everything and were spotless. So nice to see so many trees being planted, will definitely be back in the spring to see the wild flowers planned.

Mi è piaciuto This is the best mix of luxury and wild camping, spotless facilities including new shower block which are spacious and plenty of hot water. Plus the ability to park in amongst the trees and wake up with the birds singing. Great dark sky for star watching. Really loved this site and will be back.

Non mi è piaciuto Absolutely nothing to dislike about the site, just an idiot camper that sprinkled ant killer around his tent as he did not like insects, would have been better suited to a travel lodge!

Mi è piaciuto Loved this site, totally wild with a lot of wildlife. Very peaceful. If like me you were worried about the comment about dog poo, please do not, it is goose and swan poo all vegetable matter! If want want wild camping and wildlife this is the place, saw kingfishers, great crested grebe family and tawny owls, as well as a large family of geese and swans.

Mi è piaciuto Our second visit and it did not disappoint, this is such a peaceful site, spotlessly clean with spacious showers and plenty of hot water for washing up. Very popular for fishing with a well stocked lake, we went kayaking in the river. This is going to be our go to site for when we really need to chill out. Good site for bird watching with a resident pair of cuckoos.

Mi è piaciuto Everything! Had a lovely welcome and given all the information regarding the site, massive manicured and level pitch. Facilities are absolutely spotless with showers and laundry facilities. Site was very private and quiet, with a lovely lake. Lots of wildlife and resident cuckoo!

Mi è piaciuto Very clean and well cared for site. Warden was very helpful. Nice view and plenty of wildlife to watch. Would definitely book again.
