Mi è piaciuto location just off a great walking/cycling trail and close to Ashbourne, friendly staff, comfortable cabins, the swimming pool, nice park for children and a well stocked shop

Non mi è piaciuto lighting around the back of the cabin to get to the toilet/shower cabin could have been improved, it would be great to have a fire pit spot for each cabin and, some sort of awning so that you have somewhere dry to cook in the rain

Mi è piaciuto clean, beautiful lake in a lovely setting. Good bathroom and kitchen facilities and very quiet at night. They offer weekend pitch stand up byo paddle board pass at £20 per pitch which is good value compared with their normal byo rates. Staff friendly. Pitch cam with picnic table and firepit or chimnea.

Non mi è piaciuto You have to pay separately to sit on the beach and book in advance. We didn’t realise this and had two disappointed children, as all the beach slots were full. It’s a shame they don’t offer a weekend swim/sup/beach pass for those that overnight.

Mi è piaciuto perfect setting, children were able to run freely with a nicely blended play area. You could have a firepit at night and it was quiet at night. Well stocked shop with public bikes to hire nearby. Super clean washing facilities. We plan to come back.
