Mi è piaciuto Lovely pools, clean showers and loos. Gorgeous beach a short walk away across the fields. Nice bar and play area for children. Great receptionist spoke 3 or 4 languages.

Non mi è piaciuto Not a lot to do in the local area if you only have bicycles. But plenty to keep you occupied on the site. No wifi unless you paid a lot for it.

Mi è piaciuto Beautifully looked after and clean. Showers spacious with curtain and chair. Nice spacious pitches. " very English! A couple of nice restaurants in the town.

Non mi è piaciuto Not a lot to do in Chateaulin once you have cycled along the beautiful canal. Wifi only at the bar.

Mi è piaciuto Mostly good sized pitches but lacking in mature trees for shade. Well set out. Great indoor pools. One normal pool and the other a bit like plunge pool with seating areas and fountains. A child's splash area just been opened. Some improvements going on at the moment. Nice setting/ lounging area. Unfortunately classed as low season so no bar/ ice creams or food being served. Washing machines weren't working but receptionist ( who spoke great English) put our washing in a private machine. Close to Ambon village, two bars and restaurants. Easy 15 minutes cycle to Damgan where there were shops and lovely beaches. Great cycling in both directions from Damgan. Good free wifi.

Mi è piaciuto Close to lovely beaches. One end much more commercialised than the other. Facilities clean. Reception pleasant but didn't speak English.

Non mi è piaciuto Overcrowded. Pitches small and everyone on top of each other. Very claustrophobic. No privacy, just picket fence between pitches and surrounded by cabins.

Mi è piaciuto Nice open site with tree and hedges marking out pitches. Short cycle to the beach. Receptionist spoke english. Loos had seats and paper! Building work going on, possibly for a pool?

Mi è piaciuto Cycle trails near by as is the port. They were importing sand to supplement the towns beach whilst we were there. Town pretty but a warren of no through roads for traffic. Need to use Google maps.

Non mi è piaciuto Many of the pitches were very narrow and deep. You were very close to your neighbours and no open aspect or views. Perhaps too much shade? Lots of flies. Rather spread out scruffy site. Only one set of loos/ facilities at one end of the site. No Internet unless you paid 20 euros for 2 days.

Mi è piaciuto Nice marked out pitches with hedges and pollards willows. Electricity not always at the pitch and you need a French connector for the electric hook up. Very peaceful and lovely english speaking couple running the site. Toilets , washing up area and showers very clean ( shower cubicle rather small but shower wonderful as head can be moved and the water is not on a timer ) small shop and bar. Bread can be ordered each day. Wonderful for cycling, either along by the canals or on the peaceful roads. Many cycle routes. Pretty villages near by. Great boat trips can be booked ( with English speaking guide) from the near by port. Lovely bar at the port. Nice food. Excellent free WiFi.

Mi è piaciuto Peaceful. We had free choice as to where we pitched up. Very welcoming reception. Loos and showers clean. Lovely town square when you got there. The campsite is at the bottom of the valley and the town at the top !!

Non mi è piaciuto The river wasn't very nice by the site, a bit of a damp area with lots of flies and then a stream, as the site is just down from a weir. Don't be tempted to cycle up to the town via the pathway. VERY steep( but beautiful) No chemical waste disposal.

Mi è piaciuto Very helpful reception. Nice indoor swimming pool. Good play area for young children. Pitches well cared for but in the top area they were a bit too shady and windy as our weather wasn't that warm A lovely short walk along the Loire to the village. Brilliant cafe along the way. Great bird watching trip in an old barge ( unfortunately all in French!) We think there were places to cycle to but unfortunately one of our bikes was broken. Great man, organised by the site mended it.

Non mi è piaciuto The loos and showers were all rather tired and the restaurant didn't look at all appealing. The area around the reception could do with smartening up .

Mi è piaciuto Near a pretty village and castle. Beside a " lake" but not really like the picture. Clean toilets and showers.

Non mi è piaciuto Very noisy jackdaws and barking dog!! Unfortunately our stay coincided with the overnight stay of 40 scouts. So not very peaceful. Pitches marked out with hedges but electricity not always near your pitch. If you camped next to the lake it could be noisy at night with young people meeting up.
