Mi è piaciuto Incredibly peaceful location. Great communication, and the place is perfect. The hut was a perfect size for 2 for the weekend, and had all the little things that you needed. The fire was already made for us when we arrived, and there was firewood sold on site if needed. There's some excellent walks nearby on the moors and it's great for a weekend break. It's not as easy to get to, down some narrow country lanes but this is to be expected.

Mi è piaciuto Large site, plenty of space for most pitches, friendly owner. Good enough for a stopover. Shower units & toilet block were very clean & well looked after.

Non mi è piaciuto Not many tent pitches available, 2-3 were taken up by one couple drying their clothes. 2 Euro hot shower cost. We were likely unlucky with the night we stayed but someone was going up and down a nearby road on a noisy motorbike for many hours.

Mi è piaciuto Fantastic location, absolutely ideal if you're looking to hike, walk or bike around the (beautiful) nearby area. Super friendly campsite owners that were really helpful. Plenty of useful information for nearby things to do/places to eat. Very hot showers, clean toilets and really large pitches. Camping pods were good, more than enough space for 2 people - you could probably fit 4 adults in one pod! A good amount of space between each pod too, so you don't feel like you're encroaching on anyones' space. There's also good phone signal, if that's important (also wifi, but didn't use so can't comment on how good it was). There's also a small on-site shop if you've forgotten any of the essentials. Would 100% return.

Mi è piaciuto On site facilities were nice & clean, running hot water and enough space. The horse box was a good size and had a comfy bed, and was plenty for me and my wife for a weekend stay. Campsite owner was friendly and helpful despite being incredibly busy. There was wifi but we didn't attempt to use it, so can't comment on it's efficacy.

Non mi è piaciuto Screaming & swearing feral children at 10pm; but not the fault of the campsite
