Very peaceful remote site with lots of wildlife

Peaceful pitches with lake views
lug 2026 Mi è piaciuto Large pitches overlooking water sports lake. Plenty of showers and toilets.
Lots of wildlife around the lakes .

Great location with good walks and options to catch bus or train
lug 2026 Mi è piaciuto Location was good with large pitches. We were asked whether we wanted sun or shade and were shown a lovely shady spot.
Easy to walk into village which had pubs, shop, great butchers and a rail station.

Manager Chris had lots of good tips and local info. Pub in the village did a great Sunday lunch.

Stunning hillside site with only the sound of the birds

Modern facilities that were very clean. Wash up area included a toaster, microwave and kettle as well as 2 fridge freezers.

apr 2026 Mi è piaciuto Our 2nd visit. Lovely site with spacious pitches and great walks from the site. Walked to a great pub in Alford Barr which can be accessed through the Springbok estate.
