Mi è piaciuto I really loved this site. The bathroom/shower cubicles were great with quick hot water and plenty of space. The restaurant on site had delicious food and a discount for campers, I ate there both nights I stayed. Walking areas which were lovely with a little farm animal area. Lovely surroundings and the staff were nice. Plenty of space on site and I got to spend a really pleasant few nights.

Non mi è piaciuto The showers flooded but cleared fairly quickly when the water was turned off. No gate at the entrance so I did feel like security was a bit low, didn't have any issues during my stay though. There are cockerels not far from the campsite that start up pretty early in the morning so maybe bring some ear plugs if that's a bother. These things didn't detract much from my stay.

Mi è piaciuto I liked the view and the space the pitch provided. The facilities were clean and stocked. The guy that I checked in with was friendly and buying some firewood was easy, it even came in a very handy plastic basket. I felt safe at this campsite as a solo female, the owner was responsive when I called the number (to check in and buy wood). It was nice to have a walk around and see the goats, I could hear the birds of prey but I don't think that area was open to the public when I stayed. It was a lovely stay, my first time trying solo car camping.

Non mi è piaciuto Honestly, the only thing I disliked about this trip was completely out of anyone's control. The top of the field seemed quite windy. When I walked around the bottom of the field seemed less windy but it was closer to the train tracks, not that the trains were much of a bother after 6 or 7pm. The trains honk their horns at each other but that stops a little while after it gets dark. The whooshing of the trains becomes just a background noise alongside the wind.
