Mi è piaciuto The campsite is very well located to the channel tunnel, the people who run the site are lovely, only the gentleman speaks English, facilities are clean and I’d stay here again if I needed to be off early.

Non mi è piaciuto The reason it lost points is because there is a cockerel in a garden near by and also a dog that barks from 6am, if you’re in a tent and want a lie in good luck.

Mi è piaciuto Very nice campsite, I have a really good sleep, it’s clean, there’s WiFi at the cafe, the toilets are clean and showers too… the clientele were decent as well, thanks.

Mi è piaciuto The gent who checked us in was nice, the site is spacious and in a very good location.

Non mi è piaciuto At 2:30am a family arrived in pitch 109, from the moment they arrived they were so loud, banging tent pegs, blowing up the inflatable tent, kids screaming, parents talking loudly, car engine going… it didn’t stop all night… in the end by 5:30am I’d had enough and just packed up and left. I had to tell them to be quite multiple times and didn’t get any sleep from the moment they arrived Who lets someone check into a campsite at 2:30am? The website stated check in times… The toilet blocks are dated, no soap and no toilet roll, loads of spiders in males showers also.

Mi è piaciuto I went for the SBBA Boneshaker weekend. Overall the site is very biker friendly and check in was easy enough. It’s great that they let groups camp out.

Non mi è piaciuto The grass had just been cut and it was everywhere especially in the morning dew, collecting the grass clippings would help but it’s not a major problem at all. The train comes through every hour and beeps its horn so bring ear plugs. The showers cost £1 for 4 minutes! Most campsites charge a maximum of 50p for 5 minutes, this was a bit expensive.

Mi è piaciuto Liked everything about this site! The check in was closed but they left all our info taped to the door. The site is immaculately clean and the access roads amazing! The pitches are perfectly flat and well gravelled. The amenities are super clean and the water is hot! Honestly I couldn’t find a single fault with this site! Not to mention it’s in a really picturesque part of the country too

Mi è piaciuto The site is easy to find and pitches are well sign posted. It’s in a beautiful area of the Peak District and booking is easy and you just roll onto your pitch and don’t need to do anything else such as sign in. The facilities are immaculate and probably the best and cleanest we’ve ever visited. Honestly I couldn’t really fault this site at all. You can even get free WiFi in your camper van!
