Mi è piaciuto Great motorhome pitch. Nice and level. Close to showers and amenities. Nice and quiet despite it being half term. There was a park, pitch and putt and fishing lake if needed - didnt use any but the kids I saw definitely enjoyed the park. Lovely food in the club house. The host was very informative and really quite lovely. The beach was just a ten minute walk. As a solo traveller felt extremely safe. Bringing my son next time because of the pitch and putt. :)

Non mi è piaciuto The WiFi was not quite up to scratch for the work I needed to do whilst away, but phone signal great so mobile data was used. It wasnt a problem for me but worth noting if anyone is on site 'working away from home'.

Mi è piaciuto Fantastic site; beautiful clean facilities; hot showers - just have to wait a moment for the hot water to kick in; Great dog run area and even gave the dog a treat and tennis ball to play with when checking in; village is only a small walk away with pub, shop and tea room. Yes WiFi is sketchy but honestly didnt bother me...phone and mobile hot-spot worked if I wanted it to - which I didnt!! Great welcoming staff...definitely coming back

Mi è piaciuto Great level pitch for the motorhome with views of the valley. Superb walk into the woods and even though the bluebells weren't in bloom it was a magical adventure. Great facilities. Nice touch with a coffee machine, books and air hockey table as well as football goals and rope swings for the kids. Great location just outside Falmouth - Just keep an eye out for the sign for the farm/camping site which is low down at the entrance. No wifi but we knew that when booked.

Mi è piaciuto Owner super helpful in telling us possible walks near the site - walk around the lakes was really lovely. You can walk to the Eden Project from here which was a lovely walk on the trail - 1 mile to Eden 'front' gate/roundabout then another mile to Eden itself (if don't use the shuttle bus) The owner mentioned you get a free guide if you say you walked - which we did - just said where we were stopping :) Very peaceful. Lots of wildlife - bunnies and deer. Nice showers and thorough recycling is promoted. Very clean, tidy site.

Mi è piaciuto Pitches were individual bay with gravel and grass, separated by tall hedge so felt very private. Electricity was easy to set up using QR code and website. Phone signal was good for using mobile data No wifi, wc and shower but knew that before booked...so no star rating for facilities and wifi - not a negative at all. Great owner - who helped with a issue on the motorhome and was lovely to check we were all set up ok.

Mi è piaciuto The view over the weir was simply gorgeous, and I was in the right place to take in the most beautiful sunset on Friday night. I couldn't have asked for a better location - stunning!! I showered in the stable, which was quirky, hot, and just brilliant. There were paddocks for my dog to run free and a little walk around the site, so he was very happy, and I slept so well with the sound of the weir helping me drift off. The aim of this weekend was to get quite a bit of work done - that was the 'pain'. The 'pleasure' was the stay which outweighed the pain 10-fold. The work just flowed without it feeling like work (excellent wifi btw), and that's all down to being in such beautiful surroundings! I even had more than enough time to sit, listen to the birds, watch the herons, take in the beauty, and do nothing. Thank you to Kate, who was a great host. I'm so sorry this retreat is only carrying on a few more months because it really is a slice of heaven!!

Mi è piaciuto Fantastic pitch opposite Kingfisher View (the river), great walks alongside the canal. Facilities were very close to the touring pitches and always nice and clean. Older son loves nature so being near the river was fantastic. Easy check in. Great wifi connection (so the teen was happy!)
