Mi è piaciuto Loves the lake, had a lovely swim. Nice clean solar showers and we used most of the amenities. The cafe on site makes a fabulous milkshake. We liked it so much, we’re staying again on the return leg of our journey. Flat pitches too and plenty of room. There’s the option of hiring paddle boards and kayaks on-site. You scan a QR code and a kayak is released from its hold for you. Great stuff!!

Non mi è piaciuto The cafe shuts on a Tuesday and Wednesday unfortunately for us. We would have stayed an extra night to have breakfast and lunch there. But not the end of the word.

Mi è piaciuto Really lovely site. Huge field that you can pick your own spot. Fantastic sea view and great facilities. Have to say that they have the biggest shower I’ve been in on a camp site. Super clean and they offer free tea and coffee which is a novel idea. Brilliant. Will visit again.

Non mi è piaciuto Can’t think of anything except the field slopes in places and you’ll need chocks. Saying that there are plenty of flat places to pitch.

Mi è piaciuto Lots of space even if it was extremely busy with all the holiday makers. Really good cooked breakfast from the cafe onsite and great to watch all the skydivers getting ready to jump, packing their parachutes and the nervous jumpers ready to go with them. We then watched their plane take off and watched them jump from the plane and parachute all the way down and land right in front of us. It was an entertaining couple of days!

Mi è piaciuto Lovely quiet site. Flat with very generous pitches. Very tall hedgerow’s separating pitches. Lovey clean shower block with hot showers. Dog friendly with designated dog field. ANPR barrier when arriving so just straight in, onto your pitch.

Mi è piaciuto Loved the vast space and quietness of the site. Loads of amenities and the morning outdoor swim. Just lovely! We saw a snowy owl too!

Mi è piaciuto Such a lovely site. Good facilities, very clean and fresh. Friendly staff. Set in beautiful woodland with a nice walk round the site. Dog friendly and bins provided. Level pitches and gravel for campervans. At night the woods come alive with owls! Such a treat to hear this. Very peaceful, quiet site.

Mi è piaciuto We absolutely loved the site, the woods, the firepit and the lovely peaceful setting. The first night as soon as it got dark, the woods came alive with owls, which was amazing and the light pollution was minimal so you could really see all the stars. There is a lovely walk around the site for dogs and it's so spacious, we didn't feel on top of any other campers. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. The site was clean and very well looked after. I loved that there is no wifi but some might not like it. The toilets were clean and a nice hand soap was provided, along with hand sanitizer. We will definitely be back for another break soon.
