Mi è piaciuto We liked the animals and the playground though it may need a little TLC. In another area there were bits of wood to make a den. The wooded area was nice. The toilet block/washing up area, etc. was good. We really appreciated that when we asked, as we were only there for one night, to leave slightly later the next day this was agreed. We enjoyed visiting Knott End on Sea

Mi è piaciuto Great campsite for our family to stay. We paid to walk the Alpacas which was great and a real experience. The river ford was great to play in with wellies for an hour or so. The sheep were super friendly, friendliest ive ever seen. The chickens good fun, and ee got to collect a few eggs. Bargain at £15 a night, we knew that the far field mean a little walk to the loos but it made it fun. Pub was good and food was good and enjoyed the pool table at 50p a go. Hosts were great and we had a good stay and will come again. We had a good nights sleep. Pitches were good, a very green and interesting area with places to visit and walk.

Mi è piaciuto Excellent place to stay. Hosts couldn’t have been more helpful including the loan of a stove as i had forgotten my gas bottle. Excellent pitches and spacing between pitches. Definitely a carefully and thoughtfully put together site and worth all the high reviews. Kids enjoyed the chickens, and meeting the pigs. After unloading the car having to park the short distance outside is a good touch as it is safer and means quieter at night as no car doors opening and closing. Local shop is handy and easy walk to. No extras so we could pitch a little tent on the pitch no issues or extra cost. Toilets in great shape, showers good, a little area to charge up power banks a real plus. Kids want to come again. Really handy location to visit Langollen, Chirk castle and horseshoe falls, etc. Other than a few sheep it was quiet at night and we slept well
