Mi è piaciuto Easy site to find using sat nav; access via wooden gates. Small number of pitches, no reception, but names and pitch numbers on blackboard as you drive into site on left building. Lovely information shed, my wife was hugely impressed, unfortunately I didn’t get a chance to see inside, maybe next time. Pitches are really big and very level - had a good nights stop - relaxing. Hookup electric easy to sort out and use slot meter. Lovely touch is each pitch has its own wooden table/bench seats opposite. Nice touch having food or just sitting in the sun…

Mi è piaciuto Access was easy and communication good, all relevant information given prior to arriving. Dog walking area was really good, basically the whole field with access through opening. Campsite owner/representative came to see us and point out amenities, etc. Kept an eye out for wildlife and saw a dear in field eating plus a few hawks.

Non mi è piaciuto Toilet/shower were busy but very clean. We’d booked the site thinking it was adult only, but children were at site - we book adult only as we have a GSD who gets nervous - although we were sited away from children. One side of the site is level pitches, our side was sloping, although we managed to minimise this by parking down facing. Our neighbours appeared unhappy with this by voicing loud opinions. As we were only there for one night and leaving early - couldn’t be bothered to respond.

Mi è piaciuto Met by Jayne who indicated where we were to pitch up, gave us plenty of information. All well explained and friendly to. Easy to hookup, only ourselves and one other Motorhome in the entire site. Ground was well maintained and drained given the recent wet weather. Facilities are good, clean and tidy. A little noise from the road, but nothing to keep us awake. Garage, Coop and chip shop close by as site food was shut for the time we were there.

Mi è piaciuto What a find, a value for money, extremely clean and lovely located campsite for adults. Staff are brilliantly friendly, booking in was a breeze at reception; getting in and out super easy with number plate recognition and pitches are very generous. No problems with the hook ups, one way system on site road ensures no snarl up and toilets, waste disposal and drinking water taps easy to locate and use. Will definitely be returning in time. Quite central to all the lovely places Devon has to offer. Can’t recommend enough. Definitely 5 star campsite…

Mi è piaciuto On arrival, had a great greeting, shown the pitch location and facilities on the site map. The site is well tended and our pitch was level and gravelled. Electric was easy to couple up to. The toilets and showers are well maintained and kept clean, the chemical toilet drop is easy to find and well signposted. Its a peaceful site, and the hedges screen of the sections well, access roads to the site are easy to use from the instructions supplied by the site owners (Thanks). Overall, I'd certainly recommend a stay at this site, we'll definitely use it again when we come back to Cornwall. Adding to my favourites...

Mi è piaciuto Due to a change in our personal arrangements we were able to arrive at the site a day earlier. We had telephoned the site ahead of arrival and were able to secure a pitch for the night prior to the pitched booked via Pitchup. It was a grass pitch at the top of the site with electric and water, sloping slightly but used our wedges to level up and it suited our needs exactly. The office was closed when we arrived, but the pitch number was left on a notice on the front door of reception which was a great help, but needed to search the site for the pitch number (the site map on the desk, would have helped on the door)... one of the staff (Michael) had seen us searching and came to advise us where the pitch was. Thanks... Next day we drove down to our reserved pitch, hooked up and sorted ourselves out. The reception/shop, toilet/shower facilities and refuse area are located in one block and the owners should be proud of the whole set up, all well presented and really good. They have been the winners of the best loo in UK for the past three years including this year - when you see them you'll understand why - always clean, dry and in good order. A treat to use and they were kept clean during busy use in the mornings. The whole site is really nice, quiet and lovely. Our pitch (45) was located close to the reception/toilets, etc. but we were not disturbed at any time. A big bonus is the site shop where they sell meat, reared and butchered at the farm where the site is located. The burgers went well with our salad in the evening, (very tasty and well priced). Overall, this is one of the best sites we have visited and one we hope to return to many times over future years. Recommended site and a BIG thanks.

Mi è piaciuto Well greeted on arrival by Celfyn and Ruth, handed site rules and map of area. The site looks great with well arranged level hard standings (gravel) and grassed areas, all very clean. Services at the pitch well arranged on posts and in really good order. Wifi reception excellent as was TV digital signal. Toilet/Shower block spotlessly clean inside and out, well maintained. Easy access off main road to Holyhead, four miles away. When outside you can hear a slight drone of traffic going past but nothing annoying. Overall a great place to spend some time relaxing.

Mi è piaciuto Helpful staff - happy bunch - quickly arranged to tow our Motorhome out from our designated pitch in the field... had rained for a few days and the field looked okay but became stuck as we neared our pitch... staff organised a harder standing grass pitch elsewhere on the site. Toilets are kept clean being regularly cleaned. The toilet block however is looking tired and needs some investment as it doesn't appear to have good ventilation and it 'rained' whilst in the loo due to plastic ceiling and really bad condensation. Clubhouse appears okay, but was really busy whilst we were there and other than drinks, there was little else on offer due to either being booked or sold out. Enjoyed the weekend we were there but we only used the site to stop each night, left each morning to go elsewhere. Not a site I would stop and stay at for the facilities, pity because its location is nice.

Mi è piaciuto The size of the pitch and ease of driving into site. Booking onto site was easy with good instructions for code access gate and getting to the pitch. Had to use the wedges to get the motorhome level as pitch was sloping quite a bit, but not a problem as we were only on site for two days. Loved the Lodge in the evenings for a drink and snacks, nice atmosphere. Staff were friendly and helpful. Didn't use the indoor swimming pool but it look good. Overall, a good place to stay.

Mi è piaciuto This was our second visit to Oathill Farm Park and as usual found a friendly welcome. The site is clean and tidy with plenty of space to go for a walk, sit by the pond, watch the fish or just lounge around in the motorhome. Its a lovely quiet park, and if time allows, a tea room to visit. Overall, one of my favourite sites in Devon.

Mi è piaciuto This is a brilliant site but don't be put off by the country roads leading there. A warm welcome was given by Luke on arrival with a quick introduction of the site facilities. The pitch was level with all services, good lighting and the added benefit of card access through barriers, so you could come and go as you needed. The toilets and shower block were the cleanest of all the sites we've visited this year, the owners must be commended. The motorway is within close proximity to the site, but noise from the passing traffic is minimal after a short while on site. You get used to it. The site is well maintained. However, there is an added bonus to the site... Hoggies Inn is part of this find of a campsite, so walk past the shower/toilet bock and down the side of the Inn, right into a welcoming & friendly atmosphere. Breakfast is also provided at Hoggies at a discount for campsite visitors - full English, etc... Delightful :-) Will visit again soon and it will become part of our 'autumn/winter' camping scene. Recommended 5*

Mi è piaciuto The pitches are well set out, easy to pull into and our 'fully serviced' pitch was well presented. The shower blocks are well maintained and clean with nice hot water. Access is well thought out with push buttons both sides, information set out in reception and if arriving when office shut, posted on the front door. Particularly liked the jet-wash for cleaning down the motorhome costing a pound or two. Detergent was lacking though even after pressing the button. Overall, recommended.

Mi è piaciuto Size of pitch, good walking landscape and nice river to bathe in, lovely restaurant. Great welcome and nice to see they were concerned about Brexit. We weren't.

Non mi è piaciuto One neighbour decided to have a problem with the 'English' in the big van - we said we were Welsh. He didn't know the difference. Nothing wrong with the site though.
