Mi è piaciuto Pitches nicely spaced. Facilities lovely and clean and in excellent order. Friendly greeting on arrival, friendly staff throughout our stay. It's also in a great location, with easy access to both Cheltenham and Gloucester. Shops and eateries also close by, what more could you want?

Non mi è piaciuto A pet hate of mine is push button showers, they are so annoying, I can never understand why they exist. I also find them difficult to operate.

We completely appreciate your comments about the push-button showers, we know they're one of those things people tend to either not mind at all or have firmly on their list of pet hates! We're sorry you had difficulty getting completely level on pitch 11, even with your levelling blocks. Thank you for mentioning the specific pitch number, that's really helpful, and we'll take a look at it as part of our ongoing pitch maintenance.

If you visit us again, please do let us know your preference for a particularly level pitch when booking and, subject to availability, we'll always do our best to accommodate you.

Non mi è piaciuto Pitch had quite a slope difficult to get caravan level which also made the steps difficult to get level and safe.

It's also great to know you found the local information we provide useful, we put a lot of thought into helping guests make the most of their time in the area.

We're sorry, however, that you found your particular pitch difficult to level on. Although the majority of our pitches are relatively level, there are a few where levelling blocks may be needed depending on the length and setup of the unit. We completely appreciate your point regarding the caravan steps too, as being able to position these safely is important.

If you're ever having difficulty getting comfortably level, please do come and have a chat with us at reception. Where availability allows, we'll always do our best to help or look at alternative options.

Mi è piaciuto We stayed in our motorhome on a fully serviced pitch. We were close to the facilities which were clean and well presented. Plenty of showers and toilets. The site was also clean and well thought out. The staff were lovely- very helpful and accommodating. The dog exercise area was a good size.
Brilliant bus service to Cheltenham- also to Gloucester. There are plenty of walks which reception gave us a map for. Lots of things to do in the area. Asda and Lidls are nearby as well.
We have booked again for December.

We're pleased your dog enjoyed Dorothy's Dog Field and that you made good use of the local walking routes. Having the regular buses to both Cheltenham and Gloucester right outside the park, along with supermarkets nearby, certainly makes it easy to leave the motorhome pitched up and explore.

Mi è piaciuto The glamping pod was so comfortable and had everything (and more!) I needed. Loved the private outside space too. My dog also enjoyed the dog walking field.

I felt very safe as a female solo traveller and would highly recommend to others!

Thank you also for your comments regarding the road noise at night. Our convenient location between Cheltenham and Gloucester and close to the major road network does mean some traffic can occasionally be heard, and we appreciate that everyone has a different sensitivity to background noise.

Mi è piaciuto This site was chosen as it is Adults only, on a bus route and also fairly close to home (45 mins away).

When we arrived we were advised they were moving us to a different pitch than they had planned, as we wouldn’t need levelling ramps, and probably due to our small size. The staff were lovely and friendly.

The pitch was perfect, nice and private with shelter from the sun by the trees, with water, waste and electric.

The facilities were lovely and clean and modern - the piped music was a nice touch! We also liked the wicker figures around the site and the fairy lights at night.

We were right under the flight path for the local airport, so that combined my two hobbies - camping and planes - perfect! We took a walk to the airport and had a drink at the Aviator Inn, and watched the planes coming and going. (Be warned, the walk is along a fairly busy and fast road that doesn’t have a footpath).

There was some road noise but that doesn’t bother us as we live by the M5.

Local transport was efficient to get to both Gloucester and Cheltenham and further afield.

Would definitely recommend.

We're delighted you chose Briarfields for your break and that our adults-only setting, location and excellent bus links ticked all the boxes for you.

It's lovely to hear the pitch change worked out so well too. We always try to allocate the most suitable pitch we can, and it sounds as though yours was just right, with plenty of privacy and some very welcome shade from the sunshine!

We're so pleased you enjoyed our clean, modern facilities and the piped music! It's also lovely that you noticed the wicker sculptures and fairy lights around the park. They're some of those little touches we hope help make Briarfields feel a bit special.

We had to smile at your comments about the aircraft. Being close to Gloucestershire Airport isn't everyone's cup of tea, so finding a guest who can combine two hobbies – camping and plane spotting – is absolutely perfect! It sounds as though your visit to the Aviator Inn rounded things off nicely too. Ooh re the walk to the Aviator there is an off road route across the fields then onto a footpath for the last stretch. The other safe route is turn left out of the park and follow the B4063 and turn left at the set of lights and continue along the footpath and you'll see the Aviator on your right hand side. Maps can be found on our noticeboards.

We're also pleased you made good use of the buses to Cheltenham and Gloucester. Having such regular public transport right outside the park is a real bonus for guests who want to leave the car or motorhome behind and explore.
