Mi è piaciuto We had a brilliant weekend at the campsite here. Visiting as a family with primary school aged kids we'd initially booked two nights, but added on a third because we were having such a nice time. The site itself is small - maybe 15 or so pitches - had a nice peaceful relaxed vibe, and is really well looked after after. There were lots of families with similar aged kids and the kids all got together and played for hours in what is a very comfortable, safe environment, with lots of grassy space and a playground, so we could all get on with some relaxing. Facilities are fairly basic - toilets and a couple of showers, and there's an honesty shop, which is handy. But there is the option of having pizzas or breakfast cooked for you and brought to your tent! A great perk for that late night arrival or last morning where you've already packed away the cooking stuff - food was really nice too. Cassie, who runs the place with her family, was lovely to communicate with and couldn't have been more helpful. They work very hard to make sure it's a nice place to stay. There was one night where one of the pitches was making too much noise and when I woke up there was already a message of apology from Cassie, letting us know they'd spoken to the people about quiet hours. Having had problems like this at larger places that go completely unchecked this was really nice attention to detail. Nearby there's obviously tons of outdoors stuff to do, farm shops, we had a day at British Iron works, which was ace. Then at night, when the clouds part, that spectacular Shropshire night sky. In all, a great little place and we'd certainly recommend it or return ourselves. Thanks Cassie and team!
