Mi è piaciuto Quite roomy pitches, quiet site, modern toilet block, friendly staff and great local activities - really recommend the Royal Oak pub and having a wander down to Thor's Cave and the Manifold Valley

Mi è piaciuto Hosts were excellent, extremely helpful and informative. Campsite was brilliant, you could choose your pitch and there was a lot of variety, from completely open on the hilltop to sheltered under a load of trees. The views of Snowdonia you get from some parts are breath-taking. There is a lot to do in the area, amazing nature reserves and walking trails with a lot of wildlife. We took our own shower but the one there was working towards the end of the stay anyway. The car park being away from the campsite was nice as there were very few disturbances and it really felt like you were alone in the middle of nowhere. Highly recommended, we will definitely be back!

Non mi è piaciuto The only thing I can think of to criticise are the potholes in the road to the car park, but they're easy enough to get over if you drive slowly
