Mi è piaciuto The best one yet! has everything you would need in it! Tea, milk, sugar, coffee… plus a coffee machine with a couple of pods! Washing up and cleaning supplies, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel, towels, bedding, blankets, hair dryer, games, books, a radio… literally had to take ourselves! Loved that there was no tv! It was really clean, bedding smelled fresh and it’s well looked after. Owners were really friendly, advised that we can text or knock if we needed anything. They were on hand but didn’t bother us at all. We just wanted a peaceful little break and that’s what we got. The farm/ lake is nice to walk about and we found some bridal path walks. Back at the hut we had our own fenced off garden with a bench, chairs and fire pit, surrounded by wildlife. We took our own bbq and sat out side with just the fairy lights on until it got cold then went inside and lit the log burner… Just perfect. We spent some time in near by Southwell and that was a nice little town to explore and grab a bite to eat. Highly recommend this stay… we will be back

Mi è piaciuto Just returned from a long weekend at Hanworth country park… what a hidden gem! We had amazing weather and no one stayed in the pods by us so felt like we had our own little area/pool! Near enough to Lincoln to drive to but far enough away that you feel in the middle of nowhere! The day before we arrived we had a call from the park to say that no one was stopping in our pod the night before so we didn’t have to wait until the usual check in time and we could arrive as early as we wanted on Friday morning which was really good as we weren’t losing half a day waiting about for check in. When we got there the receptionist was really friendly and helpful (didn’t catch her name sorry). We stayed in a glamping pod (pod 1) and it was really clean! The mattress on the bed looked pretty new, there is a mini fridge, toaster, kettle, 2 mugs and tea, coffee and milk. There is also a table, 2 stools and out door furniture. The pod has plug sockets in it and lights inside and out. The pod is right in front of one of the fishing pools but other pools are also near. My partner fished and commented on how well stocked it was. Fishing was £7 a day and the bailiff comes around a few times a day. It would be good it they did a deal on the fishing if you are staying there as some days we went out for the day and my partner only had a quick hours fish when we got back but still had to pay the full £7. (But he was constantly catching fish so he was happy!) Toilets were spotlessly clean, ladies especially are really well laid out, each cubical has its own toilet, sink and shower so lovely and private. The men’s weren’t as new and slightly further walk but still clean. My partner did say he wished that there was a men’s or unisex toilet on the ladies block as in the night it was a bit more of an effort for him to walk over to the men’s than it was for me as the ladies were much nearer (this is only a very minor niggle!). We went to go to the shop for a few bits to find that the shop is no longer open (they are looking to turn it into an ice cream parlour!) but there is a coop in the next village which is a few mins drive so this wasn’t a problem. We had a drink at the bar and they sold ice creams which was nice especially as we had red hot weather. (Didn’t eat there but the food coming out looked good). The park is lovely to walk around, lots of beautiful scenery and plenty of wildlife and no rubbish floating about which is rare… it’s so well kept. From the beautiful surroundings, the friendly staff, great accommodation and facilities we had a great mini break and We will definitely be returning again. Thank you for a lovely stay
