Mi è piaciuto This campsite ticked all the boxes for us: great views, great location, not too crowded, and allows fire pits. There's lots to do on around, including a bridle path directly from the site. The evenings were peaceful, and you can see the Milky Way cloud on a clear night, which was incredible. The site offers several unexpected features: benches around the pitches, a power outlet for phone charging, and a fridge/freezer unit free for use. This site for us strikes the perfect balance between simplicity and creature comforts.

Non mi è piaciuto There's only one shower, and the mop left outside does little to clean it. After a few people have used it, dirt accumulates. Also the nearby A road was a little noisy at times and annoying, but it's a fair trade-off for the convenient access to the site.

Mi è piaciuto Lovely views, well-kitted shop, friendly hosts, relatively remote with an adjacent woodland - a real hidden gem.
