Mi è piaciuto Lovely pool and shaded pitch. Good shower and toilet facilities. 5 mile cycle took us to the most amazing swimming lake with free paddle boarding.

Non mi è piaciuto The restaurant and bar don’t open for the days we were there (midweek). Also, access to river was not really possible. Not the campsites fault, but we got bit so much by insects despite constant spraying that we couldn’t sit out in the evenings.

Mi è piaciuto Fantastic little campsite. Clean showers and toilets. Right on edge of river with a diving/jumping in platform. Joined the weekly soirée and had a fantastic paella and music evening. Will definitely come back here. Great wood fired pizzas too.

Mi è piaciuto The setting which was so tranquil. Swimming in the lake and good walks. The bread delivery each morning was great. Showers and toilets were really clean and fully stocked and hot! The owners and Lydia were so helpful

Non mi è piaciuto Nothing - even on the day it rained we still went out and cycled and then went for a dip in the rain - will be a story to tell.

Mi è piaciuto We loved the pastry and bread delivery service. We called it ‘the magic bag’ - put it out at night and then in the morning, pastries appeared. We then got up and walked 100 yards with our coffee and pastries to have breakfast on the beach followed by a swim. Fantastic friendly staff, we arrived very early but they were happy to accommodate us and even changed our allocated pitch to a vacant one so we could set up early. The evening sunsets were absolutely magical. Recycling well sign posted and additional small bins in washing up area leaving no excuse to not recycle ♻️.

Non mi è piaciuto No plugs provided in washing up area (and we forgot our own) and also push button hot water tap which made washing up awkward and probably wasted more water than by providing a plug. We are very eco friendly so this upset us.

Mi è piaciuto Great pitch, really friendly staff. Pool brilliant. Book shelf in reception - really welcome after running out of books the day before arrival. Location spot on for the town and cycling paths.

Mi è piaciuto Huge pitch. Hot showers. Drinks in bar really cheap. Easy access to river for kayaking and swimming. Cycle into Limeuil for a picturesque village and great restaurant. Week we were there the field next door hosted a monster truck spectacular- awesome stunts (if you’re not a health and safety officer - my heart was in my mouth on occasion).

Non mi è piaciuto Local village was industrial and not pretty at all. Apart from a pizzeria, there wasn’t really anywhere to eat or drink. Felt run down. Site was fine though, pool good and comfy sunloungers.

Mi è piaciuto Good fresh croissants. Great clean showers. Quiet and good views over fields. 8 mile cycle to mont st Michel.
