Mi è piaciuto Views of Ingleborough summit. On the Ingleton Waterfall trail - quick access to some stunning falls and gorges. Solid, raised stone tables for cooking. Top class toilets and shower facilities. Owners very nice and helpful. They do regular checks to make sure everyone is happy.

Non mi è piaciuto Some quiet background noise from the nearby quarry but wasn't an issue for me. Some loud revellers, but it was the weekend in summer and it's not something the owners can completely control.

Mi è piaciuto Great location for walking. We did a 12.5 mile round trip taking in Ravenscar, Raven Hall Hotel, Cleveland Way coastal path, Boggle Hole, Robin Hoods Bay and the Cinder Track. It was the height of the summer holidays, but walk 5 mins from the hot spots and you are free of the crowds. Toilet facilities obviously new and were clean with decent shower. Kettle available for when you run out of gas. We love having a camp fire and it made our stay even more memorable.

Non mi è piaciuto Pitch we had was clearly newly turfed and the grass had not taken. Ground was very hard indeed and needed to hammer pegs in. But it was flat and fine for a couple of nights. Never laid eyes on the owners and wasn't quite sure we were pitching in the right spot.

Mi è piaciuto Beautiful setting in a small wooded area. Feels remote. Really great that fires are permitted and fire pits with cooking tripods are provided, plus picnic bench. Great to be close to the livestock - pigs, sheep and geese etc. The toilets were always clean and although we didn't get chance to use it, the cafe is inviting and the menu looks great.

Non mi è piaciuto On our second night there were two groups that turned up basically to drink and party. One was all male. There was loud music playing, shouting and swearing unchecked into the early hours. Don't mind people having fun but not at other people's expense. I thought that using Pitchup, with it's booking policy, would have been some protection against this.
