Mi è piaciuto The size of the site and the activities that can be done whilst staying (providing you have the equipment for it/wasn't too busy - fishing, paddleboarding). There are plenty of carp in the large lake which a few people had great success with although doubt that they had followed the rules of no boilies etc. The site overall is really clean and it is clear a lot of work goes into this. The fridges are cleaned every Wednesday so have to be emptied to careful planning to make sure you don't have anything perishable at that time. There are walks from directly off the site (far side of the big lake there is a small bridge onto a public foothpath), we only did a 5k walk as we weren't overly sure where we were going but was great to explore without using the car. On the other side of reception there is a conservation area past the lodges where dogs can have a run around along with some more fishing ponds (we didn't have any luck catching here). There are several supermarkets within a 10min drive, Ledbury town itself is really busy with a lot to offer, including plenty of bakeries and takeaways. The lodges that they have on site looked great and all had parking along with a hot tub. We would stay here again, but maybe not in a pod as in peak seasons I feel this would be a bit too close for comfort next to other guests in the other 2 pods.

Non mi è piaciuto Felt that the pods were too close together, we could hear other guests inside their pods from inside ours which was probably off putting for both parties as we had a child and dog with us and they didn't. Sounds daft, but the pods were also really close to the bins, toilets and general storage for wood, old golf buggies and other assortment of items. You can hear when people are in the shower, putting stuff in the bins etc. There's also a red diesel point next to the toilets so we did have works vehicles pulling up outside our pod to fill up, collect wood and move things around at about 8.30am. We also found the downside to having the large lake open for all activities is that fishermen tend to take priority over everything. We took our paddleboard with us which would have been great fun, but could only use a third of the lake as several fishermen had lines out so had to be careful our oar wasn't going to snag on these.

Mi è piaciuto Absolutely everything! What a site - gorgeous surroundings from the moment we looked out our pod, to the local area on the way to the shop or finding a place to hike. We hired a pod for 2 nights and safe to say we are 100% decided on returning next year - well worth the 4 hour drive! The facilities are very modern and absolutely spotless, we've been to many sites and never seen one this clean. The showers are great, hair dryers are provided and lovely soap and moisturiser in the toilets. The site in general is well maintained with plenty of recycling bins too which is always a massive green flag for us. There's an enclosed dog exercise field across the road too which is super handy. Sharon who we met on site is so helpful and friendly too. The shop sells an array of things although we didn't need to buy anything, it was helpful knowing it was there. Gutted we departed prior to the bacon rolls being cooked on the Sunday morning though - next time!

Mi è piaciuto Great sized field where tents and caravans are pitched round the edge to keep the middle free for play area. The toilets and showers are always really clean and the water is hot. Also really impressed with the recycling facilities on site - never seen such care to recycling taken on a site before. Donna and Brian are really friendly too.

Non mi è piaciuto Not the site's fault at all but as there are no trees when the wind does pick up it's very very strong.

Mi è piaciuto The site itself is lovely, the camping area isn't massive but this is great as it doesn't get too crowded. There is a ladder and rope swing from one of the trees for kids. There's also a pen at the back which has some chickens and peacocks in which our son loved. The dogs that live on site are very sweet and our son had a whale of a time entertaining them! There is a bathroom with a toilet and a lovely hot shower and then a separate toilet on its own. The farm has a wood stock which you can pay £8 for a supply of wood and a fire pit. They also have a microwave, cooking supplies like spare plates, cutlery, gas stoves, tea and coffee just in case you've forgotten anything which was a great touch. The owners are really lovely and definitely spend time trying to maintain the loveliness of the site. There's an extension lead in the bathroom and a plug by the microwave so you can charge phones etc which was really handy. Everywhere seemed to be within 12 minutes - whether this is the beach, pub or a supermarket (Aldi, Lidl, Sainsbury's and Tesco all nearby). The washing up area has hot water and cold drinking water with tea towels, washing up liquid and brushes already provided. There is a bin here along with plastic, glass and can recycling.

Non mi è piaciuto There is a porta shower which never seemed to get hot unfortunately even after waiting for it, but I used this because I couldn't be bothered to wait for the other shower. The pitch up filter showed that there is ice pack freezing but this isn't the case. The last point is a weird one, the farm is very remote and tucked away which is great, but the roads accessing the farm can be a little scary as they are single lane and we encountered a couple of vehicles coming the other way so had to reverse back to a point and allow them through. It wouldn't put us off returning but something worth mentioning.

There are signs to state it takes some time to heat up but if it wasn't heating at all we will sort this out for future bookings. Im not sure why there is a filter for ice pack freezing. However if you needed this, we would have been happy to put those in our freezers for you. We are always around to help. Mi è piaciuto A very peaceful and secluded site located at the back of the farm. The portaloos were very clean with lots of supplies and you aren't restricted as to where you can pitch up. Geoff was lovely and left us a 5L bottle of water under the oak tree, but would definitely recommend bringing more depending on the length of your stay. The site is close to the beaches at Southwold and Dunwich which are both lovely. Dunwich also has a fantastic forest to walk round too.

Non mi è piaciuto The length of the grass somewhat impeded us on pitching as it made it a bit bumpy underfoot but I guess this is what you get when you're truly wild camping.

Mi è piaciuto Great sized site with lovely clean amenities. Staff on site were super welcoming, friendly and helpful. Fairly unrestricted as to where you pitch up, unless you're electric hookup which is fair enough. Good location in terms of distance to pubs, grocery shopping and Mundesely Beach which is definitely worth a visit, even when the weather isn't fantastic. Satnav's are a little unreliable when trying to find the site, but there's a decent sized sign locating it on the main road. Would definitely visit again!

Non mi è piaciuto Personally thought that the price for a fire pit with wood was a little high, but that's just my own thought and wouldn't put us off returning.

Mi è piaciuto A quiet and calm intimate site on the rear of a farm. There were 8 or so pitches. The facilities were lovely and clean, along with a fridge,microwave and washing machine. There were frequent fly overs from the RAF sites so great for plane spotting. There's lots of horses on site, a couple of friendly dogs that come and say hello. Behind the pitches there's a pond with a rowing boat with fish in it and a lovely walk down the track. We only stayed 2 nights but would definitely return.
