Mi è piaciuto Lovely surroundings in a friendly environment. Not crowded with nice space and sense of privacy for tents. Beautiful views, peaceful and quiet. Decent shower lovely and warm with lots of space. Coffee and pastries at the on site cafe on Saturday morning and literally 2 minutes to the Juggs pub across the road which serves really good food and has a lovely garden. Very close to Lewes also.

Non mi è piaciuto The compost loos were clean but quite full when we visited which was a little bit off putting and would have loved some hot water at the washing up station.

Mi è piaciuto The view from our pitch was breathtaking. The site was well kept and the showers and toilets were spotless. The shower block in the lower section away from the entrance was old fashioned but it made me feel nostalgic and I loved that. I loved the place!

Non mi è piaciuto Nothing- I didn’t find the staff a problem at all they were very nice and polite- there are rules but that’s probably why the site runs so smoothly.

Mi è piaciuto Everything. The pitches were nicely spaced. The facilities were spacious and spotless. Hot showers. Lots of hooks! Great firepit and views. There is a communal area with a large fridge freezer and kettle- both really useful! And three pubs within walking distance with great food available. Dave and Jo were fabulous hosts- what’s not to like?

Non mi è piaciuto Someone had misused the compost toilets over the weekend- we arrived on the Sunday and it was a mess- I love a compost toilet but this put me right off. A group of people had been using the woods as a toilet also. Can’t blame the site but why would people do this? It’s such a shame. Spoilt what would have otherwise been a lovely break. I feel sorry for the owner who will have to clear up their mess. Made me a bit nervous about revisiting. Which is a shame as it is a lovely site.

Mi è piaciuto Really pretty site with clean facilities and a small shop for basics. It was fairly busy but everyone was very respectful of noise levels. There is a field next door for parking and ball games and somewhere to exercise dogs. There is a nice pub which serves good food 2 minutes walk down the path. Also Karen and Simon are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Great little site close to faversham and Whistable. Would recommend.

Non mi è piaciuto If you like a lot of space -at busy times it’s not the place for you. Pitches are very close together.
