Mi è piaciuto Exactly as described, a farm field with a portaloo and a tap, and in an elevated situation with a beautiful view. Nice walks indicated. The young couple, farmers, who provide the site are charming. I thoroughly enjoyed my overnight stay and would like to have stayed longer.

Mi è piaciuto Good hardstanding and adjacent parking place. Well maintained camping field with amazing view. Nice, recently built ablutions block. No hassle or booking- in rituals - following a text from the manager you just arrive and set yourself up.

Non mi è piaciuto This massive site was quiet and pleasant but wouldn't suit me once the season gets started - it's designed to cater for young families (,and that's fine!)

Mi è piaciuto This is a rustic site unashamedly basic and on a farm. It is evidently popular as there was plenty of custom. The site is simply farm fields but so large that even with lots of tents and caravans there is plenty of space for privacy. There are 2 locations each comprising portaloos, portaloo-style showers, and outdoor sinks for washing up etc. The proprietor is so pleasant and tours the site in the early evening on her tractor, cheerfully chatting to guests. I have really enjoyed being here and would strongly recommend it to anyone who isn't phased by 'rustic'!

Mi è piaciuto Beautifully rural working farm location with well maintained gravel hardstandings round a pleasant central green. Proprietor is pleasant and attentive, and a warm welcome was proffered. The ablutions are adequate and clean, and there is a very good, well equipped laundry room. We thoroughly enjoyed our fortnight there and would love to go back and do it all again next year!

Non mi è piaciuto Having to leave at the end of our fortnight! We had no problems with the moo-ing of the cattle or the occasional arrival of organic odours!!
