Mi è piaciuto Location - handy for Hayle and St Ives. There is a pub / restaurant (Turnpike Inn), small Spar and petrol station within a mile and McDonalds (if that's your preference) within two. Large level pitch - we had a tent with awning and a gazebo and were able to park the car alongside. Space in the centre of the field added to the feeling of openness. All round views of the stars & planets at night made it feel like back-to-nature. Showers and toilets were clean and we were happy with pushing a button for 20 seconds of hot water. Lack of children's play area / facilities made the site pleasantly quiet although kids are able to play ball, frisbee etc in the centre of the big field.

Non mi è piaciuto The dislikes are almost nit-picking: lack of shelf / hook in new showers for shower gel etc. Transition between toilet block and showers felt unsafe underfoot with 'bouncy' wood.

Dal gestore: Many thanks for you in-depth review.it’s great that you felt our site was excellent and that you enjoyed the large pitches and the space in the middle which is kept clear as an area for children to play games. We do have a lovely sky at night and are glad that you felt at one with nature. Unfortunately, we have had numerous hooks in the last few weeks, that will take a weight of 25kg in the new showers, which we have had to replace on a daily basis, due to breakages. As we have had the showers on hire this season and hope to buy them at the end of the season, we will be able to put some heavy duty hooks in for next season and will also be looking at the access to the showers. We hope you visit us again in the future. Jayne and Mike
