lug 2026 Mi è piaciuto We always head to The Wellington Inn when going north. It is also worth spending time there, the food is truly delicious. And worth a drop into the butchers in the village. We will be back.

Even the weather was perfect

It was our third visit and…
ago 2024 Mi è piaciuto It was our third visit and stayed for 4 nights, had a good look round the area lots of places to see and do. Site simple and basic, very clean and tidy. Lovely food at the pub will certainly come again.

Excellent site great food
lug 2024 Mi è piaciuto Stayed on way up to Orkney and liked it very much, stopped again on way home to Shropshire, food is marvellous highly recommended. Will book again for longer next time.

Wished we could have stayed longer
lug 2024 Mi è piaciuto Lovely clean and tidy, ideal pitch for touring round local sites and you can even order a takeaway from the pub menu (Gammon and all the trimmings, superb) and what makes it even better, England won there match.
